I'm not entirely certain that this belongs in General, but it's a general thing, so here it is.

I'm thinking about starting a podcast about story. Anything story. Right now, my list of topics is mainly ideas for episodes where I would break down elements of books or movies that I think worked well or not.

However, that's not all I want to do with this thing. I'd really like to take listener questions. So… Does anybody have a story question for me? Post it! …And tell me how you'd like to be credited for your question (with pronunciation guide, please!).

If I get going on this, I'll come back later with a link to the show.

How much outlining does a story need?

How does a writer learn to plot well?

What makes memorable characters?

How important are names to a story?

If you happen to use any of them, just credit my real name. It is pronounced like it looks. ;)

How do you write realistic dialogue or learn to do so?

Use Jeremiah (my real name), it's also pronounced the way you'd expect. ;)
