I always think chickens smell funny, which puts me off having them as pets. :dieshappy:

I don't have a "favorite" animal per say. But I do like felines and birds.

They only smell funny (or even bad) if you keep them cooped up all the time and never clean out the coop. (Hence the ammonia smell at larger facilities.) Our chickens are open range and we clean the coop out. ^^

Yes, we have a factory near us, Calen. I hate walking past it because it does not smell nice.

Define bird... Anyway, here are my favorites as narrow as I can call them.

Mammalia = Fennec/Orca
Aves = Secretary Bird
Reptilia = Tautaura
Amphibia = Hellbender
Chondrichthyes = Leopard Shark/Manta Ray
Osteichthyes = Coelacanth
Agnatha = Lamprey

I have some favorite invertebrates too but I won't get into all that.

I love dogs and birds. Horses are pretty awesome too. I aspire to one day own a dog, duck, horses, and cows. We'll see how that goes.

Because it wouldn't be much good to go on listing nudibrachs, chernetids, and the mantis shrimp would it? No one would know what my favorites are either way.

That's... strange.

I'm not sure if hedgehogs are allowed here or not - they wouldn't be allowed in my house. I doubt a dog and a hedgehog would get along, or two cats and a hedgehog, or chickens and a hedgehog.

I wonder if the ban on hedgehogs is like the ban on ferrets. Maybe they're afraid that the hedgehogs will breed and take over the state.

My favorite domestic animals are horses, goats, and cats. For wild animals, my favorites are squirrels, lions, peregrine falcons, and lizards. I'm also a huge fan of gryphons.

Hedgehogs are adorable! One of my mom's friends used to have one as a pet, but I think that was because she rescued it... but I'm not sure.

Mmm... I never said what my favorite wild animals are. I have taken a liking to chipmunks, for they are such petite and delicate animals. I also like tigers and any other wild cats just as much as domestic felines. For wild animals in the ocean, my favorite would be a beluga whale. They are so unique!

Chipmunks are sweet, I think. Tigers are awesome.

When it comes to domestic animals... cats. It has to be the Ragamuffin or the Maine Coon. Or maybe the Russian Blue... Oh! The Munchkin is ADORABLE!!!

Unfortunately the only cat that fits the busy schedules is the noble Japanese Bobtail ... And we have to get a bigger house on top of that. There's nothing wrong with the bobtail its just that it doesn't come close to the beauty of a Turkish Van...
