Hey there! I’m Xander. My real name is Alex, but feel free to call me anything you please. :) I joined Holy Worlds about a year ago but since I disappeared from the site, I’m posting a re-introduction.

I found out about this site on ywp.nanowrimo.org when Elly suggested it to me. Although I’m not a very talented writer, I have done NaNoWriMo twice as well as written a Mainstream Fiction novel for youth. While I’ve only ever dabbled in fantasy writing, I’m planning on incorporating fantasy into my next novel. Besides writing, I have a passion for music and art. Typography in particular is an area I greatly enjoy and I love to improvise on the piano. I’m a follower of Jesus and was just baptized a couple months ago.

I’m so excited to re-join Holy Worlds because it’s easy to see how the discussion here is much more Christ-centered than on other writing forums. Although I have to admit that I’m a little intimidated, I hope I can join in the discussion and not stick out too much like a sore thumb. :) I’m especially interested in learning how to develop a unique yet intriguing fantasy culture for my next novel. I can’t wait to get to know you!

Hey! Me too! I've just done fantasy short stories, but my next novel will be fantasy. *nodnod* :D

You'll be fine, as long as you do get involved. :D I stick out like a sore thumb, but I still post, and people here are nice. ^_^

Hi, Xander! Nice to see you over here! :D

You should indeed check out the Worldbuilding section - it's really helpful. And eventually you can create a sub-forum in the Realms Beyond section. How cool is that! :D

Ooh! Though I'm not good at making songs up, I like to play piano and listen to songs then learn them by ear. :D You should share some of your improvisations. ;)
