Hey everyone!
so after all the fun of the audio chat on Skype during the Georgia Holy worlds convention, we all mentioned that we should do it more often. But Lycanis and I saw no action being taken... So I appointed him Official Organizer of Holy Worlds Skype Chats.
And then, of course, as the OOHWSC, he appointed ME to do all the work, inviting, setting a date, etc.
So here I am. Those of you on Skype, let me know what days/times you're generally available on Skype. I'll work on setting a date as soon as my schedule opens up a bit.

Yes, sort of. Only it doesn't have to be a big thing planned weeks ahead of time. Just, hey, I'm free Saturday at this time, do you want to chat? Who else wants to join? Etc.

I'm on most of the time and would be game for one of these.

I'm game. I opened up my Skype to HWers earlier today, as this is something I've been planning on doing in my personal life anyways.

Evenings and weekends (unless I've got stuff due for school)

Do we wanna just have people pop in here and post when they're on skype, or if they know they'll be on skype in advance, and then anyone can join? Or is that too general? It would kind of be like what Airi's thread was, but for everyone...

Oh, I'd like that! Right now I'm free most Friday nights at about. . . 8:30 EST until midnight. I could probably get on at about 8:00-ish most weeknights, but I can't be up late.

I've been wanting to do this on google+ or skype but I never got around to organizing and figuring out the important facts. My schedule is flexible enough so that I can be free whenever... except midnight or any other time at o-dark-thirty in the morning. This could be a lot of fun! I look forward to it!

I think I could probably participate at almost any time as well...though I would want to know ahead of time because I've been spending a lot of time writing at the library and can't voice chat there.
There are a few times during the week that I'll more or less consistently be busy, though: Wednesday nights (I'm Pacific Standard Time) and Monday nights are pretty much taken up (though Monday might give way if there were a large group to chat with ). And then Saturdays are usually busy but may or may not work for me.

That sounds like a good time to me. I haven't used my Skype account since June, so this gives me a good excuse.

Yes! I've been wanting to try and get something going, but having trouble doing it now because of camp nano...if someone else tries to set a date and see how many people can do it, that'd be cool!

I never know whether I have to work on any given day until about a week beforehand, and my schedule isn't steady or anything. So it could be in the morning, afternoon, night...

Well, Saturdays are often busy in one way or another so I have no clue whether I could make it on at all, or if I'll be on all day. My family usually sleeps in though, so if it was at like 8:30 PDT I would be more likely to be able to get on (though still not sure).

8:30 AM PDT? That'd be 11:30 for me. I think that sounds good.

One little note, guys -- it's probably best to ask someone before adding them to a public room, as many HWers would like to keep their Skypes from being public, and many may not want to be added to a big room where the notifications would distract them, if they don't have time for a lot of chatting.

And also, keep in mind that only a certain amount of people can enter the group for there to be a "Call Group" Option. (I think the limit is 12...)
