Well, I'm working on my story, called Warriors of Truth. It's based in two worlds. One is a sci-fi-ish world, and the other is a steampunk/fantasy world.

I'm a huge fan of the Narnia and Redwall series, and I also like Dragons in our Midst. Also Daughter of Prophesy, and the Dopple Gangers Chronicles. There are probably more, but those are the main ones at the moment.

Hm...well do you like worldbuilding? You could read/post here: viewforum.php?f=53 You could even (should) post some of your own work if you want to!

Then there's General Discussion where you can talk about common interests, etc. and Writing Discussion to talk about writing technique, etc.
So much to explore! :D I don't remember, but I think I may have started in the worldbuilding-related areas myself (though I likely have different interests than you so maybe you'd want to start somewhere else). Go explore! :dieshappy:

Hi Dia! I saw you once before over here, but I never really got to get to know you until CM, so, Welcome Back! *hugs* :D

I'm so thrilled to see you here and active! ^^
Yes, the forums are huge and easy to get lost in; but it doesn't take too long to find your way around. You could start in Character Development (my favorite place to hang out), or just chill around General Discussion, read reviews in the Watchtower, develop weird plants in Geography and Flora, or whatever!
EDIT: Pretty much what Lycanis said. XD
