 *Dons red and white clothing, and throws those colors of glitter everywhere* Happy birthday, my wonderful country! So what are all you Canadians doing for Canada Day? I'm with Bethany/Adalia's family, and we are going down to see the fireworks after supper with friends, and I hope to get some good pictures.  And I'm wearing a Canada T-shirt.

Every year we go to a barbeque hosted by a couple from church, and then we stay to watch the fireworks from their backyard. This year, there was a little boy, and he was sitting on my lap to watch the fireworks, and he said "they're so close!". So I reassured him, told him they won't kill him, etc. Then a few minutes later he said, "it's coming right towards me!" I squeezed him and said "oh no! It's okay, I won't let them kill you!" He gave me this look, and tells me, "You already told me that." in that 'how dumb are you?' voice. I  ed.I like living in Canada too! I love answering the question 'You're Canadian? Really?" by telling people that I live in an igloo and ride polar bears to school, and that I eat maple syrup and backbacon three meals a day. It's great fun. |

*saw Rose and Adalia at the fire works* I hung out with friends I hadn't seen in almost two years (they live in Argentina) and we watched the soccer eurocup. |
