Hello All,

I wanted to let you know sooner rather than later, because I may not have time to get to it if I don't do this now. In about a week and a half, my two younger brothers and I will be travelling on a mission trip to Japan. Our flight is July 11th, and we don't get back home until July 23rd. It looks like I'll be able to take my laptop with, but I don't know about wifi or even if I want to have the extra weight (I'll already have my fiddle to carry around!).

If you could pray for a safe trip, that would be great! We will be working with two churches over there, in Yokohama and Saitama. according to the CIA World Factbook, only about 2% of the population of Japan are professing Christians. My prayer is that we change that.

Don't irreparably destroy the place while I'm away, who knows, I may be watching you!

さようなら! :salute:

Also, please pray for the language barrier. Neither I or my brothers speak Japanese very well, and only five people out of our team of about 20 speak it fluently, so it will be interesting! To say the least...

Wow, that sounds like so much fun! I'll be praying that you enjoy your time as you do great things for the Lord. :)

Be wary of your habits, for they become your character. Pray over your character; strive to mold it to the image of Christ, because your character will shape your destiny.

Ideas can germinate from the smallest seeds. Collect those seeds, and let them grow in the back of your mind. You may be surprised by what finally blooms.

When God takes something from your grasp, he's not punishing you. Instead, He’s opening your hands to receive something better. The will of God will never take you where the Grace of God will not protect you.

Thanks, everybody for the prayers!

@Airianna, where did you live there? We'll be visiting Yokohama, Tokyo, and Saitama.

I landed in Tokyo and spent some time there, but we lived in Okinawa, a little Island off the coast.

I've only been here for one whole day, but I love it here! Can't believe I only have ten whole days to look around. I'm definitely going to apply to be on the team that returns next year... When I get back from Japan I will definitely have a "debrief" of sorts on both my website and my blog with pictures from the trip.
