Who are your favorite artists? What have you been listening to lately.

For me, Coldplay was my first, but they have a lot of pop-influence lately. I was introduced to Arcade Fire, and through them discovered Florence + the Machine and Mumford and Sons.

I also like The Black Keys, Muse (Starlight, Uprising), The Temper Trap, Modest Mouse, etc.

And some people who don't quite fit in, like Regina Spektor and Adele. But who I am to argue with the briliance of Pandora?

Humm...does the David Crowder* Band count? It sounds like they fit your description at least partly...

I don't think David Crowder Band quite fits. They'd be Christian alternative I think, right?

I LOVE Adele, Regina Spektor (some of her stuff), some of the stuff by Florence and the Machine, I have a song by Mumford and Sons that I ADORE, Alannis Morisette is also pretty awesome.

To me, if it's alternative, it's alternative. And they do have dance/electronica influences.

Which reminds me of Delierious, a now retired Christian British-Indie group. They sound like Muse or Radiohead. Very good.
