This is for people who like alternative or indie rock. Sometimes with folk, pop, or electronica flairs. Always original, unique, and unclassifiably awesome. (That's why indie stands for independant.)

Who are your favorite artists? What have you been listening to lately.

For me, Coldplay was my first, but they have a lot of pop-influence lately. I was introduced to Arcade Fire, and through them discovered Florence + the Machine and Mumford and Sons.

I also like The Black Keys, Muse (Starlight, Uprising), The Temper Trap, Modest Mouse, etc.

And some people who don't quite fit in, like Regina Spektor and Adele. But who I am to argue with the briliance of Pandora?

Redemption is to be purchased, to have a price paid. So I was redeemed from my master sin, and from justice, which demanded my death. For He paid the price of sin by becoming sin, and met the demands of justice by dying for us.

For all men have a master. But a man cannot have two masters. For he will love one and hate the other. You cannot serve God and sin. So I die to the old, as He died, and I am resurrected to the new, as He was resurrected.

Note: Ebed is Hebrew for bondsman, Eleutheros is Greek for unrestrained (not a slave).

I don't think David Crowder Band quite fits. ;) They'd be Christian alternative I think, right?

I LOVE Adele, Regina Spektor (some of her stuff), some of the stuff by Florence and the Machine, I have a song by Mumford and Sons that I ADORE, Alannis Morisette is also pretty awesome. :)

Azriel- And who do you think you are, running round leaving scars, collecting your jar of hearts, and tearing love apart? You're gonna catch a cold from the ice inside your soul, so don't come back to me. Don't come back at all...

To me, if it's alternative, it's alternative. And they do have dance/electronica influences.

Which reminds me of Delierious, a now retired Christian British-Indie group. They sound like Muse or Radiohead. Very good.

Which Mumford and Sons song?

I think I may've heard one of their songs on Pandora before, but I don't remember for sure...I should look them up.
