Hey there everyone. I'm new here - obviously - but I've followed you guys quite a bit. I'm really happy to be a Holy Worlder and thanks to all those who have welcomed me.

Thanks everyone.

@Lycanis Mimetes: I've written more on the sci-fi side, and have all these great ideas flying around which translate into dozens of 'books', so I'm trying to combine my ideas into less of them. I have an Arthurian fantasy book in the works, though. I probably won't get to it until 2013, though. :'(

Welcome to the forum, Balec! I'm very glad you joined us! You should post us an Excerpt or two in the Fireside...I'd love to read it and I'm sure everyone else would as well!

What genre[s] do you write? Which ones do you read? What are your favourite books?

First of all, I am going to continue to thank everyone again for the welcoming. *Eats cake*

I think I said this before - it might have been on one of the other forums - but I write Sci-Fi, mostly, though I have 2 crime/mystery books and an original sci-fi story in the works. I also really enjoy reading Sci-Fi and Fantasy.

My favorite books would have to be Bryan Davis' Dragons in Our Midst series, which got me interested in reading in the first place, and his Oracles of Fire and the Children of the Bard series. Star Trek - which I REALLY LOVE - comes in with a close second, and I also like the Percy Jackson, Heroes of Olympus, and Kane Chronicles books by Rick Riordan, and Chuck Black's Kingdom Series and its companion series, The Knights of Arrethrae.

I just read that chapter last night, so I caught the reference.
