| Greetings. l'm a screenwriter and TV producer (now retired) with many years of experience in Hollywood. Published my first (and maybe last) novel a couple of years ago, etc., etc., and on and on... As Dorothy Parker once said so well, "I hate writing, but love to have written." My website is humbly titled www.colemanluck.com. Nice to be here. | |

I really like the way it's put together; very interesting. * five glittery penguins slide in with a bowl of welcome punch * Welcome to Holy Worlds!

| Thanks for the greetings. My website was created by my son-in-law, Slade Wheeler, who is a world-class Trompe L'oeil artist. His website is www.sladewheeler.com. (He is not in the website business.) My one and only novel, Angel Fall, is a dark fantasy. (Really quite dark.) Definitely not in the "sword and sorcery" genre that seems to enthrall everyone. The only addition that I would make to what is on my website is that I am a magician member of the Academy of Magical Arts at the Magic Castle in Hollywood. (I am not really a magician, I am a mentalist, but the elites of the Castle don't give us a separate classification.) So there you have it. www.magiccastle.com | |

| Really, it didn't? I guess I'll just explain anyway. Coleman is a type of grill. Coleman is the new user. Thus, I gave him a grill. | |

| Welcome to Holy Worlds, Mr. Luck! It sounds like, from your biography, that you've led a fascinating life. I've also heard a bit about you and your book from Aubrey Hansen. | |

| I have heard of you several times, and have your novel on my to-read list. I think I'm going to like it...I write a lot of dark stories myself. Welcome to the Bat Cave...I mean, to Holy Worlds. It's an honor to have you, sir. How did you hear of us? Edit: I just read your biography. Very fascinating. I love it. | |

| Coleman Luck wrote: As I have said to students when I have taught writing, if you love writing you aren't doing enough rewriting. Good quote. I find writing itself to be painful and exhausting. I love creating, so I still enjoy it. But as far as the actual work of it, I very much prefer editing and rewriting. | |

| Writing is a wonderful, painful discipline that changes you as you humble yourself beneath it over many years. I think it's a little like prayer should be. | |

| Have you, by any chance, read Peretti's latest book Illusion, about a magician and his wife seemingly separated by death? Very good Christian thriller. I just finished it, and you'd probably enjoy it, if you haven't done so already. | |

It didn't unseat The Oath as my favorite of his works, but it's good.

Mama says he is very intense, however, and is cautious about having me read any of his stuff.

| Welcome Coleman Luck! Nice for you to be here! I am very excited that you are here. I only heard recently, I am usually off writing or reading. I was all over your website day before yesterday. I like the paintings: things.http://www.sladewheeler.com/ I believe my favorites were Paradigm Shift and Four Stages. I also like Duet, and the one called Rise in his Friends Gallery. And I am a weird person that was delighted with this: http://www.onemotion.com/flash/spider/ So were my brothers and sisters. The options are interesting. Do you play any musical instruments? What have you found most interesting on the forum? | |
