And no one asks why I gave Coleman a grill. **sighs**

I am a magician member of the Academy of Magical Arts at the Magic Castle in Hollywood. (I am not really a magician, I am a mentalist, but the elites of the Castle don't give us a separate classification.)

Dorothy Parker once said so well, "I hate writing, but love to have written."

As I have said to students when I have taught writing, if you love writing you aren't doing enough rewriting.

Writing is a wonderful, painful discipline that changes you as you humble yourself beneath it over many years. I think it's a little like prayer should be.

Have you, by any chance, read Peretti's latest book Illusion, about a magician and his wife seemingly separated by death? Very good Christian thriller. I just finished it, and you'd probably enjoy it, if you haven't done so already.

Greetings. l'm a screenwriter and TV producer (now retired) with many years of experience in Hollywood. Published my first (and maybe last) novel a couple of years ago, etc., etc., and on and on... Thanks for the greetings. My website was created by my son-in-law, Slade Wheeler, who is a world-class Trompe L'oeil artist. His website is www.sladewheeler.com. (He is not in the website business.) My one and only novel, Angel Fall, is a dark fantasy. (Really quite dark.) Definitely not in the "sword and sorcery" genre that seems to enthrall everyone. The only addition that I would make to what is on my website is that I am a magician member of the Academy of Magical Arts at the Magic Castle in Hollywood. I love creating, so I still enjoy it. But as far as the actual work of it, I very much prefer editing and rewriting.

Mama says he is very intense, however, and is cautious about having me read any of his stuff.

Welcome Coleman Luck! Nice for you to be here! I am very excited that you are here. I only heard recently, I am usually off writing or reading. I was all over your website day before yesterday.
