Hi Everyone...I thought I'd post a quick introduction here, since I'm new.

Let's see..I'm a graphic design major at our local community college. I enjoy anything music, art, or writing related. And, I actually don't write fantasy. This seems to be the place where more stuff is going on around HW, though, so I decided to join here.

So, that's all I can think of off the top of my head...

She also has an amazing blog, great taste in preaching, is a second child who has to keep the family from exploding, and despite being an introvert can be a great encouragement when she finally speaks up.

Hi Lycanis! I finally know who you are. *grins and thinks of the AV eye*. Well, as far as music, I enjoy a lot of classical music, film scores, hymns, various songs from Christian artists, Celtic, Bluegrass, and (pardon the name) Two Steps from Hell music. Actually, most of my writing isn't "creative writing" but when it is, I do mostly historical fiction. Um, I think first you need to convince me to read some fantasy before I can say whether I'll write it. 'kay?

I like some of the same music! I like bluegrass (especially what the David Crowder* Band does), celtic and Two Steps from Hell (though I actually like a lot of the other music that comes up on Pandora from the station I based on TSFH better)!

Um...how can I do that? Bribes? Threats? If you join the Read-A-Thon, you get bonus points for reading fantasy in June (after the readathon starts)! I recommend The Chronicles of Narnia, and The Hobbit.

Oh, cool! Hmm, I don't actually listen to David Crowder, though. My current favorite bluegrass group is the Wissmann family...they may not be nearly as 'professional' as other music groups and are quite a bit more....conservative, I guess you'd say....but it's good.

Um....um...I don't know exactly how you're going to accomplish such a thing. I might join the Read-A-Thon and I *might* read fantasy. We'll see. You're probably best off just waiting and seeing....

Well...maybe it depends on your perspective... I think Skillet sounds sort of...gray, not colorful at all. just kidding...I like lecrae, what I've heard of him anyway.

I like gray. It reminds me of the black night I came from (nihilism) meeting the shining light of day.

Yay! More Wissmann fans! Actually, I met the Wissmann family last year, which was SO MUCH FUN! They're such awesome people. I listen to their CDs all the time.

Graphic design is so cool. I almost went to school for it, but the math portion was out of my league of understanding. I just pursue it as a hobby. I'm going to try and work up a banner for my Etsy shop using GIMP, but I've been busy with other obligations.
