Post subject:  Let me introduce you to myself again...

Many of you know me, a few of you are even here through me (Camille, Calista, Erica, Brandon, Jonas, Aeolian...)

But I've stayed mostly in the shadow on this forum for the past year. My passion for community has led me to assist in the smaller outposts of the realm - I was on Sci-Fi soon after it started, where I now lay silent as a Foundational Member, and I'm currently serving as an Honourable on the History forum.

God has given me a few gifts, of which I am thankful for, and He indwells me, which makes me indebted to Him.

Recently He's been growing me, and working through me to counsel others relating to the recent tribulations of our founder. Through this, He has brought me inseparably close to Holy Worlds, and I've grown to love this Community, and, of course, the people it contains. Through this trial, I've become very close to Brendan, who is now like my twin brother. I've grown to love Sian and Bushy as my older sisters in Christ. I'm been able to have amazing discussions with Carissa and our new Lady Nicole, two ladies utterly devoted to Christ (young men... always keep an eye out for that xD).

So, today, while talking with Brendan, I came to the realization that I would be able to do the most good if I returned to our capital during these times of tribulation, growth, excitement, darkness, and the triumph of Light.

So I'm back.

Many of you don't know me.

To you, I say "Greetings!"

I look forward to knowing you better.

I'm the eldest of eight children. I just finished my freshman year of college at Bryan College, in Dayton, TN. I now live at home in Virginia, and I'm working this summer. I'm a film and pre-law double major. I love everything involving community, the arts, theology, and technology. Brendan is my personality twin, so, it's normally safe to say if he's a certain way, I am too. I'm an administrator and owner of my own forum. I'm a friend of Jay. I'm currently in a courtship with a lovely woman named Noelle, the sister of Calista, Erica, and Camille, all members here.

I love The Doctor. I'm the 11th, Brendan is the 10th, Sian is the 12th... Matt Lauser claims the 13th. xD

My favorite films include Schindler's List, Of Gods and Men, The Village, The Dark Knight, Batman Begins, The 400 Blows, Black Hawk Down, The Shawshank Redemption, Agenda, IndoctriNation, Expelled, John Q., The Rainmaker, The Bourne films, the Harry Potter films, Spirited Away, Porco Rosso, Howl's Moving Castle, My Neighbor Totoro, Lady in the Water, Unbreakable, Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind, Taking Chance, Bella, The Hurt Locker, Edward Scissorhands, Downfall, and The King's Speech, The Breakfast Club, and the 1998 Les Miserables.

Some of my many beloved books are The Gulag Archipelago, One Day in the Life of Ivan Denisovich, That Hideous Strength, The Narnia books (Especially The Silver Chair - it's entwined with my salvation story), The Harry Potter books (especially the last three), A Tale of Two Cities, A Wrinkle in Time, Dahl's stuff (He was my favorite as a wee kid. :D), Jane Eyre, Fahrenheit 451, The Oath, The Martyr's Song, The Coral Island, Pilgrim's Progress, LotR, The Silmarillion (Contains the best love story ever), The Hobbit, God's Smuggler, and, last, but certainly not least, "If You Give a Mouse a Cookie". I picked that one as three books, besides the Bible, that I would bring with me to help rebuild a broken civilization, an assignment in my Comm. class last semester. I'll tell you why if you ask. The other two books are on this list too.

God bless, and I look forward to meeting you all, be it for the first, or the second time.

I'm glad too.

Do it. Though, you may have to skip some parts if you get bored - it's basically a collection of shorter stories in chronological order about the history of Middle-Earth. Like real history, some times are more interesting than others. Read the creation story, and Beren and Lúthien's tale. Those are marvelous.

The Rainmaker! I'm seriously quite happy to know somebody who's SEEN that. Even better that it's on your favorite movies list. That is a fantastic movie. Ditto for the Batman movies, The King's Speech, Les Miserables...eh, and every single one on this list that I have seen.

I should watch the other ones at some point. I started Howl's Moving Castle once but didn't really feel like it (plus I don't care much for that type of animation), but I have read the book. Very good book.

Yes! Grisham captures southern culture so nicely, and as a law student, I identify with the hero. xD I can't get over the scene with the sick kid's Dad sitting in his broken down car in the backyard full of weeds, drinking beer and talking to the cats running over his hood.
