I got an idea for a community project. Would require some baring of souls. The idea is Chronicles of the HW, would be a published work of short stories. Essentially the idea is for every contributor to write a short 3-7 chapter story about the struggle between two characters, the dark lord and the hero. The dark lord would modeled after you're own personal dark side, your weaknesses and who you see yourself becoming if not for Christ. The hero modeled after your ideal self, who you would like to become. Let me know what you all think.

And yes I am aware there is a thread for projects, but this is just an idea, and that is for official projects.

Depends on community support. If we get a lot of interested parties and the MOD's like it then we'll decide.

Probably ought to do two, one for here and one for SciFi.

Don't worry about we MODs, we're not that mean and cruel! And we only bite every second week, so you should be fine! ;)

Anyways! Historical Fiction would probably like one too...

Maybe. I just don't get how you could really do this in HF. But maybe they are smarter than me.

The historical forum could have you create an evil warlord/dictator type villain instead of a dark lord. ;)

That is a genius idea, Vincent! :D I totally think that would be good for each of us, not only as writers, but as Christians too. :) *Begins pondering a storyline for such story* :D

All that to say, I'm for making this an official project. :) What do the higher officials say?

Haha, nope, you can't get out of it. ;) Besides, you'd more likely have to worry about me. ;)

*Laughs* I might not have time to do it anytime soon, but I'd enjoy a challenge like that. :)

I think you need a Council Member to rule on it. However, you can make it a community project in the Village Common if you want to.
