Post subject:  A new Lauser has arrived!
Baby Brendan is here! And he is sweet and healthy and has been about as active outside as he has been inside up to now. :D He is 7 pounds 15 ounces, pink up to his ears, has his birthday on the 15th (barely), and loves to talk already. :D :D :D

It's two thirty in the morning, so that's all for now... * smiles * More news later.

I was so thrilled when I heard the news. It is bittersweet, though. I hope the news helps give Jay hope.

So much for my cousin being born on the same day. xD But I'm soo happy none the less! Oh my gosh! I want to see him so bad! I bet he's drop dead gorgeous! I know I didn't weigh 7 pounds. More like 2 I think. So happy he's not a pre-me like me! :D

The poor darling... hardly been alive a day and he's already in danger of being kissed to death. :roll: ;)

I saw this news first on Matthew's Facebook. It gave me great joy to know that God had answered our prayers and brought the baby safe into the world. It's a difficult time, and I hope his safe and healthy arrival reminds everyone of God's goodness. :)

So here is my prayer, Little Brendan, though you can't read just yet...

That you grow in the love and knowledge of God, first and foremost.
That you know who you are to Him.
That you grow in grace, and joy, and courage.
That His calling is your greatest motivator.
That you never let fear or injustice bind you.
That you NEVER give in, no matter what Satan throws in your way, no matter how hard it is.
That your faith is strong in Him.
That you seek him with your whole heart.
That you never forget that you were created by Him, and that nothing that happens is outside of His perfect plans for you. Nothing is wasted.

Matthew told us on chat, right when he got the news. I almost jumped through the roof with excitement!!! *gives baby anti-deathbykisses medicine* There! Give him a kiss and cuddle him for me! I'm so happy!!!!! :dieshappy: See? I just died happy! I can't stop punctuating with exclamation points!

(P.S. I know this is late, I totally forgot to check for a thread. But I did tell everyone I met in HW chat that Brendan had been born!!!)
