Ooh, first post! :dieshappy: I would have to say the first one because it was exciting and it just felt complete somehow. I thought the ending was very satisfying, though it still had some obvious plot points that needed a sequel to solve.

I enjoyed the second one more. For my personal tastes, it had better explanations and a bit more action, which I enjoy. :D

I ditto Mist. :)

Also, the characters became deeper in the second one, and the PTSD became more apparent.

Azriel- And who do you think you are, running round leaving scars, collecting your jar of hearts, and tearing love apart? You're gonna catch a cold from the ice inside your soul, so don't come back to me. Don't come back at all...

Post-traumatic stress disorder - the flashbacks, etc. form the games.

I'm halfway through the second book. Not sure yet how I'll answer.

The first is the best. (it was the least depressing.)

(plus it felt to me that the series should have been one book. The whole story could have been in the first one.)
