I think I've seen both I love Lucy, and The Lucy Show. Are they not one and the same? I'm afraid I don't think I've seen any of the others!

I love that one, I have never seen more then 6 different episodes, but I watched them over and over again. :D My favourite being, never name a duck!

I also like the "I love Lucy" That was a good one, although I don't remember many episodes. :P Although I remember the one, where she gets drafted into the army

I also like "Batman" but I have only seen one episode, The one with Mr Freeze.

Is it okay to include to more? (the Andy Griffith show, and Mary Tyler Moore)

P.S. I really like this thread. :dieshappy:

(Edit: Lady Elanor beat me. :( And no, The I love Lucy, and The Lucy show, are different )

They are different... I Love Lucy was based on the life and marriage of Lucy and Ricky (Desi Arnez). And then The Lucy Show was based on Lucy living with Vivian.

Danko: It's totally fine to name more shows!

Post subject:  Re: Old Television Shows

I LOVE the 1960's Batman series! I want the Batmobile. :D I used to watch that show a LOT when I was little. I haven't seen many episodes, but I like the Andy Griffith Show and I Love Lucy. There is a Lucy museum in Universal Studios, Orlando Florida amusement park. :D Green Acres is hilarious from what I recall, The Dick Van Dyke show ROCKS! I've only seen about 2 episodes of the Adams Family and don't recall those very well... I saw a couple Daniel Boone episodes, didn't like that very much though...

Let's see... *goes down the list* The Brady Bunch and the Munsters were funny! Though I also didn't see very many of those...

Adding on:

The Monkeys. Anyone else seen this? It's soooo corny it's hilarious!

The Hardy Boys and Nancy Drew from the 1970s with Parker Stevenson and Shaun Cassidy. *nod nod* Very awesome show right there.

Speed Racer. I watched this on youtube for a while (and probably want to start up again...) It's pretty much the original anime. It isn't quite anime, though. It's a cartoon and is really good, though Trixi has some really short skirts at times... If you've seen the movie and liked it, you'll love the show. :D

Popeye.

Annie Oakley. Oh yes. :D

*might have more but can't currently think of them right now* I think that's about it right now...

Confession: Our family watches more old TV shows (we get them on DVD sets) than new TV shows. They say its more wholesome and the jokes are clean. :)

I grew up watching The Lucy Show, I Love Lucy, The Beverly Hillbillies, and bits and pieces of everything else mentioned above. :D

David Cassidy in Adam-12
John Travolta in Emergency!
Gary Clarke in Emergency!
Anne Lockhart in Nancy Drew/Hardy Boys Mysteries and Battlestar Galactica 1978 and Buck Rogers in the 25th Century

Post subject:  Re: Old Television Shows

Ahh, old shows. The shows on TV nowadays is just....bleh....

Anyways the ones I've seen are:
Gunsmoke -- I haven't watched to many of these but I do put them on occasionally.
I Love Lucy -- That is probably my all time favorite show, I've seen every single one of them (my dad bought the whole series YAY!) and they are some of the best shows out there.
Lassie -- I used to watch it, but I haven't seen it in a while.
The Munsters -- I really like this show, I don't know why...but... it's just one of those shows.
The Dick Van Dyke Show -- I like this one, but there are somethings going on with it that are used to change the way we think. I'm not going to get to into it unless asked.
The Twilight Zone -- I love to watch this show with my Grandmother (she likes shows like that a lot), they are always interesting and keep your attention well.
Green Acres -- I've probably seen everyone of this series too, and that is not a good thing for me because I'm beginning to get Lisa's accent down....and I might annoy some of my friends with it...
Daniel Boone -- I've only recently started to watch these, so I don't have much to say on them.
Andy Griffith -- Ahh Barney, I really don't like it that they replaced him, he was by far the most talented character on that show and I was very disappointed when I heard that he'd quit.
The Little Rascals -- I haven't watched any of these in a while but I plan on watching them again soon.
Father Knows Best -- My second favorite TV program, it is hilarious and...well I'm not sure how to describe it. My older sister watches it so much she acts like Betty

*grins* I love old TV shows! Beverly Hillbillies is pretty funny, as is the Brady Bunch. Some of my favourites are Hogan's Heroes, Get Smart, Little House on the Prairie, and The Waltons. :D

Aside that the characters have the same names, the show is nothing like the books. But they still make for a great family watch. :D

*face/palm* Why didn't I remember the Waltons?! Although the earlier seasons are much better than the later seasons. *nod nod* I especially like the one where Mrs. Walton gets polio.

Come to think of it, I did see part of one episode of Leave it to Beaver, and part of one episode of the old Battlestar Galactica, but I don't know if part of episodes count as having seen the show. ;)

I'm going to drag the cartoons in too. I'll never forget the time Bugs Bunny ate radioactive carrots and became a superhero. The villains stole his carrots. He dove into a phone booth and changed into his Navy uniform and told them he couldn't play anymore because there was real hero work to do. Those were the days.

I've only seen the first two seasons, but I would like to see the rest of them, even though most series' kinda lose their shine as they go along. Although I did like some of the later "Little House on the Prairie" episodes. Especially the one where Mary goes blind, as bad as that sounds. :P

The Incredible Hulk from the 1970s! (Unless it's already been mentioned? Which I don't think it has....) It does have some language sometimes, and only like, twice, some "stuff," but other than that... I think it's good. ^_^

These are my favourite old TV shows, in no particular order:

1. Star Trek (all of them)
2. Dr. Quinn, Medicine Woman
3. MacGyver
4. The Incredible Hulk (1970s show with Bill Bixby)
5. The Waltons
6. Little House on the Prairie (I don't like this one as much as the others)
7. Bonanza
8. The Virginian (the few episodes I've seen of it, anyway)
9. Can I say Doctor Who, even if I haven't gotten to see any of the Classics yet?
10. Can I also say Happy Days, even though I only watched a few episodes before Mom decided it was inappropriate for a kid? XD

And now the childrens' shows:

11. Zoboomafoo
12. Sesame Street
13. PB & J Otter
14. Really Wild Animals - this was my absolute favourite; I returned Spin's (the animate globe) salute at the end of every episode. :P
15. Teletubbies

I think that's it...
