Hey everyone! My friend referred me to this site, and I think it's really cool so far. I'm writing a series called The Chronicles of the Empowered, and I'm working on book 6 along with a prequel. They aren't that long, so when I actually publish them, I'm going to squish volumes together (1+2, 3+prequel, 4+5, 6+7, etc). I work as a cashier (my first job!) at Harris Teeter (fancy grocery store for rich people), and I have crazy new-girl hours, so the writing is going kind of slow at the moment. But it's going! If I were someone else reading my books, I'd be hooked, completely and utterly. I have a 24-year-old guy friend who loves them, along with a 12-year-old sister. I think it's safe to say they're good, especially since my guy friend doesn't bother with reading things that he doesn't totally love. I've got fantasy, suspense, violence, tragedy, romance, and even humor! I myself have both laughed my head off and cried my eyes out while writing them. LOL thank y'all for the glitter, cookies, donuts and the kitten! Haha, I'm barely 5'5 and 2 of my younger brothers are taller than me, and my sis is getting there too. It's rather embarrassing... and Calen, they're not that long in the first place, I use standard 80-sheet notebooks, and sometimes (most of the time) have to add extra paper, and then they get longer as I edit, adding paragraphs and even whole chapters. I am very detailed as well-people who read them say that it feels like they are actually there ^u^ and no, I don't know my friend's user name, but I will find out! |

Lol, yeah I've finally grown to an acceptable height. And if you grow 2 more inches, you'll just barely be average. 5'4 is apparently like the lowest of average height for women, or something like that. And if you wear heels or platform shoes with long pants or skirt, no one will know.

*Has no idea how tall she is, but does know that a LOT of people are taller than her* Fun size is good. That's what we tell my younger sister. She's not short, just fun-sized.

wow that's a wide range of ages! And yes about the samples of my books, I've actually been posting character profiles as teasers here: viewtopic.php?f=29&t=6023 I've got my MC and my villain up there at the moment. If any of them seem to contradict themselves, it's because I don't want to give the story away (one person asked about the fact that the MC is tiny and stuff and yet can wield a sword, I told them they'd have to read the book for that.) |

Since we're on the topic, my parents just planned on having kids, and ended up with me (eighteen next month) and my little brother (eight in two months)...yeah we're almost exactly 10 years apart. |

My oldest sibling is exactly 3 years and 2 months younger than me, to the day. Me=Aug 17 '93, him=Oct 17 '96. Lol

My little brother is 20 years and 10 days younger than me. Mom's plan was to have four kids 18 months apart. She got the four kids they were just 4 years, 3 years, and 13 years apart .

Oh wow O.O that's a pretty wide span of ages there! My friend has a 30-something year old sister. She just turned 17. I think she had a sibling already moved out of the house before she was even born! |
