My Novel, the Vicious Opponent

As certain people have noticed, my writing speed has decreased. So, since I have an actual deadline for my novel, plus it being semi-school stuff, I must depart from the forums in the amount of 58% - 67% of my current availability on it.

Hopefully I'll be able to finish my novel by the end of this month, as its projected length is 36 thousand words, and I only need 28.56 thousand words more to complete it.

If anyone sees me on chat for over, say, 2 - 4 hours straight, poke me to write.

Although I don't really want to, I must finish my first (reasonably good) novel.

I'll try to give updates during the time I'm on HW, but otherwise I need to write.

Did that make sense? It doesn't sound write....

I am sure you will finish it in time, Vivace! We'll be glad to have you fully back, of course, but we are very good at poking people to enourage them to write!

I do have plans for either a sequel or a second part to this novel, but since I'm not sure which the estimate is set to if I make a sequel. If I make a second part to the novel (epic!!) it would at the very least, double the length of the book. But I'll have to figure out that once I've written the '1st novel portion'.

This, my friend, is a very good reason to temporarily reduce activity on HW.

I'm proud of you for setting goals and working to keep them, even if it means taking time off from HW. I shall keep tabs on your progress.

During a WW this morning, I hit 8.4 thousand words. I'll try to get up to 9 thousand words today, possibly more. My goal is to reach 10 thousand by the end of this week.
