I mean, come on. How often do you get your favorite person this vulnerable? He has no internet access, and limited telephone communication, and is frequently subjected to large quantities of mail.

Many of you may remember two things from last year: one, we pranked Carissa by flooding her inbox. Two: everyone had a pink ring and were labeled "April Fools." So, combining these two traditions...

Everyone write Jay! This week, if possible. Next week at the latest. The requirements are the following:

You must include pink. Pink paper, pink writing, pink envelopes; whatever.
Date your letter April 1, regardless of when you wrote it.
Include a line from the following poem.

Don't explain what you're doing! He'll have to piece together the poem as the letters come in. Please start at the top, and cross out the line once it's been claimed. (Line, not stanza.) Those who aren't editors, post what line you're taking. Please go in order! Do not number the lines on your letter.

Any other prank you can come up with, such as ridiculous stories about the current state of HW would be awesome. Use your imagination! Have at it!

Whichever you like. If you want to continue with the group rediculous story you were talking about, please do. I just have an incurable fear of deadlines.

Do we not have a strikethrough code on here? How about we go with bolding, then?

Just a reminder: look at the mail requirements for the prison, because I'm not sure if color is allowed... Just double check before you send him pink stuff.

I don't know the strikethrough code if there is one. Bolding works. Or changing the text color to pink. ;)

Here's a link to their specifications for mail.

Are they going to think we are "Corresponding in code"? And it looks like we might want to avoid colors...not sure though. :/

I've written him stuff on colored paper before. Stationary, cards, whatnot.

I don't think they'll consider it code. It's a little bit risky... but I think worst case scenario it gets returned. And I think we're within the guidelines. We're being goofy, but not illegal. If you want to be on the safe side include something that makes sense. A simple "Happy April Fool's Day!" Should explain it all.

Well, I'm going to move our brainstorming thread into the HW Projects, and then you guys can all brainstorm on the rest of the story plot. :D I'll brainstorm as well, of course, but I think everyone should be able to help out with it! I'll post the link as soon as I've done it.
