The same group that I've had the pleasure serving with in foreign missions are now moving to a front line in teen evangelism: Walmart. Susie Magazine (run by the former staff of Brio through Focus on the Family) has been entered into a contest by the Walmart corporation. The winner is chosen by public opinion through voting. http://app.e2ma.net/app2/campaigns/arch ... 53be0fef0/ I've heard it said that we have given Satan the teen years by the values we have learned. I can see that this is not true here, but the rest of the world needs our help. Voting begins on March 7th. More information is to come. Let us show the world Who's image we should really reflect. |

*cringes* I am really really sorry to say that I won't be voting for SUSIE.  Although it looks like it would be a great thing to have on the shelves of Walmart, I already committed to voting to something else in this same contest. I'll actually probably create a thread for the other product. It's a LEGO video that friends of ours made (and my older brother actually did a voice for it). It's incredible quality, and it's based off of the story of Joshua and the wall of Jericho. So... I hope you understand. And: Let the competition begin!
