Hahah! I make that same mistake! And then it feels really awkward when you've edited someone's post and you have to go back and fix it. But it's all good.

Probably something that almost everyone with mod abilities does once.

I deleted E's thread once, accidentally, by getting those things mixed up. That was early on in my HRMness. Course, I didn't even know I did it! E told me months later.

I once edited someone's post on here, instead of replying, and changed all their post.

Ironically, I accidentally vandalized another person's comment for the first time yesterday....please understand that's not to say that I've been doing it on purpose until then!

I am fairly certain that editors don't have post deleting powers.. though HRM do! Thankfully I have never deleted anything by mistake, since it takes you to a 'Are you sure you want to delete this post?' Screen before. Probably a good thing!

Definitely a good thing!...otherwise every time there's a new HRM half the forum might disappear before they get the new recruit straightened out.

Anyway, they should like make the 'edit' button flash bright red when you hover over it so that you realize it's not the 'quote' button...is it possible to do something like that, I wonder? Maybe I should ask...
