Hi! I'm Noah.

I've written a bit over the last five years, little of which passed ten chapters, and none of which has been put to paper. I've been interested in writing, and, dare I say, somewhat talented, for some time now, but haven't really done anything worthwhile with it.

I'm an almost-19-year-old living in southeastern Minnesota, I've been homeschooled my entire life, and I distinctly dislike wine. I've run for president at least twice, survived an ejection during a rollover crash, and am about as good a Christian as the Joker was a fabulous barber.

Although, given his zany hairdos through the years, I wouldn't be surprised if he did have some talent. *pensive*

Anyway. I'm looking primarily for a place to get criticism, comments, and praise for my rather meager work, and hopefully advance my talent and accomplishments.

One question. Hard as I looked, I couldn't seem to find a forum/topic where one is encouraged to post their writing and perhaps receive comment...is that just not the way things are done here, or am I missing something?

Yes, there is a place to post your writing and get feedback. It's in the Fireside. However, sometimes I haven't always succeeded in getting the feedback I wanted, so I would also suggest finding a few people you could PM your story and get feedback. We also have a critique group in the Fireside that you should be able to find easily.

You sound like an all-around-fun-guy type person. I'm so glad you have joined our forum, and I hope you enjoy staying on here! Join us in chat sometime! It can get kind of hectic.

That sounds like me. I tend to bounce between two stories that way if I contract writer's block in one story, I can be re-inspired to work on the other story. I can't really judge my gift in writing since very few people have read any of my work due to the lack of finished projects.
