(I apologize if there's a thread for this. I couldn't find one. :/)

Dragon Cave is a site where you can raise virtual dragons, basically. I'm turrrrible at explaining. XD Here's a link:

http://dragcave.net/

Does anyone else have an account on Dragon Cave? For fun, or to inspire you to create new dragon characters, or what-not?

Here are my dragons: www.dragcave.net/user/renna_ireland_stormcrow

Interesting; I've never heard of this before. Do you think it's helped you with developing your dragons, Renna?

I'm not really looking at joining more things at present; but I have created a dragon in my fantasy novel; he's called Methuselah, and although he's a different take on your normal kind of fantasy dragon I need to develop him more, and I struggle with him sometimes.

Well, I only recently joined, but I always have trouble giving my dragons unique appearances so they don't look like every other dragon out there. Dragon Cave has a large variety of different types of dragons, so it's slowly helping me think about their appearances more. :)

Of course, it takes time to keep the dragons alive (by advertising them on related forums, because they need to be viewed to stay alive), so it's also a pretty big time-waster. :/

I'm not entirely sure. My dragon eggs usually began to hatch after being viewed around 1,000 times. :P For people who can't get online very often, there are special sites where you can advertise your eggs and they get a lot of traffic. But you also have to watch that your eggs don't get too much attention, otherwise they'll get sick and die (you're notified of when they get sick, so you can fix it by 'hiding' the egg, though).

Yes, there are some dragon cave emergency rooms for dragon eggs that need to hatch. Also there is a certain red dragon who can stomp and hatch your eggs. Its a gamble though as some eggs have a chance of dying. Let me know if you need one.
