I like a lot of meals, but my favorite is called Pizza Casserole. This meal is a pasta casserole, made from Amish noodles, ground beef, red sauce, mushrooms, cheddar and mozzarella cheese, and miniature pepperonis. As I said, I enjoy many others, but this takes the cake with the best texture and flavor. There isn't anything that I could enjoy more.

I also love mac and cheese. It is so tasty, homemade being the best!

So, what is your favorite meal? Is it a homemade family favorite?

Sushi!

A good size, good quality meal of sushi, maki, and sashimi, with vegetable tempura on the side.

Probably difficult to attain the desired level of quality at home, unfortunately.

My sister makes a really nice meatball in tomato sauce pasta dish. It's one of my favourite meals.

I like my mom's homemade macaroni and cheese. Which is pasta covered with cheese sauce and cheese then baked.

I have a lot of favorites... it's hard to choose, especially since it seems to change with what mood I'm in... Here are some of my favorites, though:

- Escargot (yes, snails. And yes, I have eaten them, and yes, I love them)

- Those sugar cookies you buy at the store during Christmas that already have pictures on them. Mmmm!

- Pizza!!! Especially really cheesy ones.

- Macaroni 'n' cheese

- Home made bread!

- Ribs!

- FISH! (Go figure...)

- OKRA!!! YUM!

- Warm spinach or artichoke dip! YUM!

Yup. TONS of favorite foods. Some snacks, but can be made into meals, too.

Captain Nemo: I pretty much have a comment about every food on your list! I love pizza, homemade bread, sugar cookies, any mac and cheese, and I also have a love for a couple kinds of fish, but not all of them. On the snails, I don't know if I could ever eat those! I don't care much for ribs or spinach dip, either.

I have a couple of favourite meals:

Tuna bake. *

Roast chicken and baked veggies.

Roast lamb and bake veggies.

Sausages and boiled veggies.

Lamb cutlets and boiled veggies.

Haystacks.

* boiled pasta, with tomato sauce and tuna mixed in, with cheese on top!

Hehe. Not many people think they could eat escargot...

Okra is a vegetable... It's really good sauteed. A lot of people like it fried, but I don't like it very much that way...

I like fried okra. And fish, too, especially the ones my Daddy catches.

Oh, and I like gator tails, too. Haven't had them lately, though.

Tuna bake is delicious! Especially with a good amount of cheese on top.


I'm not overly keen on Lamb, but Chicken and Sausages I like.

Probably on the top of my list is either Spaghetti with meatballs, or VERY cheesy pizza.

I've cooked Banana muffins before, and my Mum has cooked cheesecake, once. Cheesecake is awesome.

I have never been able to each cheesecake; Mother thinks I must have an allergy to an ingredient as I am always sick if I eat some.

I like bananas on their own, fresh. I don't like them cooked in anything.

Sausage pasta bake is really nice!

Odd... that's the same with me, Elanor... I usually can eat a little bit, but if I eat a lot (even an entire slice) I tend to want to vomit... it could be my connection to not liking many cheeses very much. Sometimes, depending on the type of cheese cake, I try a bite and don't want anymore...

I love shepherds pies and cottage pies (the first made with lamb, the second with beef). I also like chicken pot pies, and, although it's not really a meal, lefse! My grandmother is Norwegian, and I enjoy helping her make the lefse (like tortillas, but made from potatoes instead, and best eaten with butter). I like lefse so much, I'm thinking about adding it into my next book...

Don't think I can choose one, but I can choose two of my favorites...

- Chicken and broccoli.

- Chicken casserole.

Burritos (homemade of course), mac n cheese, and Mud Pie Ice Cream by Ben and Jerry!!!!!

I like Lasagna, especially when my dad makes it from scratch. He makes his own spaghetti sauce, too.
I like it when we get pancakes for breakfast, but we don't get them often. Mum makes 'german pancakes', which are flat like crepes, but they don't have sugar in them.
I also like mushroom soup, and I only get that at restaurants- none of my siblings will eat it.

I like more than that, like portzelky, but I can't list everything.

Chicken cheese lasagna is amazing, but it takes me 4 hours to make it.

Anything that involves junk food.

That really made me giggle, Green! I love Macdonalds! But I just don't eat it much.

Lasagna is wonderful!!! It is even kind of like that pizza cassarole that I am so fond of!

Oh my, I love lasagne! That would rank right at the top of my favourite meals. How did I forget about it?!

@Green: How can you eat junk food all the time? No offense, but I get sick just looking at Mcdonalds or KFC (Kentucky Fried Chicken) after I've already eaten it twice in a row in one week.

The thing at the top for me is stew, but anything involving meat... and/or mashed potatoes is a huge favorite.

You sound like my brother, Sui; he loves anything with mashed potatoes.

Ooooo.... stew and mashed potaoes are yummy, too! I used to hate mashed potaoes when I was little, but now I eat any and every kind of them!

I would have to agree that I really hate junk food. The only fatty food I have a weakness for is chocolate. But if that is what you like, that is what you like!

My favorite meal of all time seems to be spaghetti. I love it with creamy chicken sauce, or with tomato sauce and meatballs. YUM.
I also adore homemade bread, piping hot, slathered with real butter. *groans with pleasure at the thought*

Homemade bread! You're making me hungry! Yeah, I like homemade bread a lot, although we don't have it often. I also love good doughy pretzels, for they remind of fresh bread a lot. But, I actually don't like spaghetti that much.

Garlic bread is a lovely side dish to a main meal!

Haha, the garden shop'd be selling a lot of seeds! I'd probably have three sorts of pizza trees in my garden: Chicken Chilly, Supremo, and Veggerama.



I like having garlic bread with lamb and vegetable soup. It tastes great together.

I've never tried it with soup before!

I can't imagine it tasting great though. Sometimes that puts me off trying it.

Meals I love (because I can't choose just one):

1.) Marinated and grilled chicken with a side of penne pasta mixed with sauteed (in olive oil) broccoli and garlic with alfredo cheese drizzled on top.

2.) Tacos with home-fried corn tortilla shells, meat, lettuce, cheese, refried beans, and cheese. (I'm not a spicy food person, so my tacos are plain, but I do like zesty.)

3.) Homemade over baked macaroni and cheese.

4.) Pizza and Pizza Casserole with Ranch dressing on the side for dipping. *loves Ranch on most foods*

5.) Pork chops cooked with a sour cream, celery, and cream of mushroom sauce.

6.) Beef Barley soup often containing leftover vegetables. (A delicious way to use them up. It also give us leftovers for a dew days.)

7.) Potato soup

8.) Grilled sandwiches. I put some condiments such as mustard and Ranch on my bread, stick some Provolone or Muenster cheese on there with some turkey, chicken, or ham in the middle of it all and grill it in our George Foreman grill.
