I used to pray and ask the Lord for story ideas (I still do), but I would never write them down! I soon amended my error, and have since stopped losing so many ideas.
Unfortunately, I've lost my idea book. And just when I needed it, too.

Oops! I lost my novel, Jess.  Well, I know it's somewhere in the house but where I cannot say. It's awful when you lose something that you really need! I hope you find it!

Aw, I'm sorry to hear that. But I'll do what I did before and ask the Lord to help me (and you) find it. Then I'm sure it will turn up.

You could also pray and ask that all your furniture comes to life and helps you search for it.
