I bring you news to excite and gladden you!

One of our earliest and dearest members is Duchess Daisy. She was there when I made the forums (she might have been the only other registered user, actually, because I was having her help me test stuff while I got it set up). And despite being continuously more and more busy at what seems an exponential rate, has never truly left this forum. She's bathed it in prayer and cared for it like a mother since its early inception. She's risen in the ranks all the way to being a Marcher Lord, even though she insists on the Mod ring because she likes green so much and because she loves dusting so much (hence the nickname Dusting Daisy). She might not be well known to all of you, but to those who do know her, you know how awesome she is.

A new stage has begun in her relationship with HW - she has now become a Council Member!

(Which is cool, since her initials are CM and so are the initials of the rank: CM.)

She will still be Dusting Daisy, and she won't be dedicating a hugenormous amount of time to the forum at large, but she will be helping, as she always has, behind the scenes with us Council Members. It's just official now.

And due to the special nature of her status, and her quite justifiable obsession with the color green, we have granted her a special rank and ring: a Council Ring with a green band (and the official title of Dusting Daisy).

So please congratulate our new White Council Member on her promotion and grant her many accolades and sweetness of speech!

P.S. And if you artsy folks could craft her insignia for the other two forums, that would be awesomest. Thank you!

Duchess Daisy, I noticed your ring when I was looking at "The Team" page just now, and at first I didn't notice anything different. Then I saw that the band was green instead of gold, and I thought, "That is so pretty and awesome!" Then I found this thread and everything was explained.
I always thought of you as white, I think. Like everyone said, it is simply official now.

Promotion threads tend to be left a little longer than other celebration threads, so that people can bob in late to say congratulations. I believe they're left for a certain amount of time before they are archived. The best thing to do is to go on the 'Where Moderators and ML's are working' thread, see who is the mod of that section and bob them a PM.
