I always think it's just a big room that's sort of lighted in the middle, where everybody stands (or sits, according their spoken preference) and talks, and sometimes characters join in. Then the light sort of fades away towards the edges of the chat, where there are walls, and corners (for the introverts, you see ).

That's pretty much how I see it. It has some chairs in places, and the room is quite large. On one side are some fancy-looking comfortable pillows that you sit cross-legged on where I've drank tea with Jonathan before, and some where in the chat room in a treadmill from the time Dairy gave me energy pills. A smaller side room has a bed for Chat ( at anyone who gets this) and front doors of the chat room are large and ornate, made of wood. Open those doors and you enter into the world of all sorts of role play adventures. That is where Nemo's submarine is, as well as a huge long skating rink where I've run away from people on, and beyond that a large forest as well as what ever other role play things.

And the chat room has lots of cookies and nommy things, and ice cream.

I don't visit the chat much anymore, but when I do I envision the HW members posting there as being part of an adventuring party stopping at an inn or tavern for the night. We sit at an old wooden table in a corner with huge flagons of hot cocoa or coffee and just chat near a great big fireplace.

o.O No way, you too?! I pictured a big punch bowl in the middle, staffed by penguins with links floating in it (Strawberry-flavored links...)

Beanbags ring the punch bowl and a huge fireplace crackles at one side. At the other side are rows and rows of bookshelves, along with the obligatory dark nooks and crannies for lurkers/introverts

Of course, if you keep going, you end up at the abyss, which we all know about A very narrow bridge runs across said abyss and over to the RPing stuffs, where a long hallway opens up on various doorways, like Elly said

That is an epic room
