I joined Goodreads a few weeks ago and have been enjoying it immensely. Only today did I think to check and see if we had a Holy Worlds group. And boo! We do! But there is no Goodreads thread on the forum and only six members in the group. o.O I think there are more HW members on Goodreads than six.

But this isn't a recruiting drive. :rofl:

For those of you who have no idea what I'm talking about... Goodreads is an online book reading and review site. You can 'add' books you have read to your account, place them on appropriate 'shelves,' write a review or just make a rating, answer polls, join discussions about books you have read, and join groups or book clubs.

It's great fun. I've found myself checking Goodreads for reviews instead of amazon, even.

I have considered joining this site sometime, but I don't read enough. :P I didn't know there was a HW member group, though. Thanks for alerting us about that, Droid!

I didn't realize how much I read until I joined Goodreads and started marking when I started and stopped each book I got my hands on.

That's right, Elly. Mist, think of it as a story lover's place - so it has things Amazon doesn't - but not a bookstore. They used to have a bookswap, but they're getting rid of that soon. :(

Hi all,
Just wanted to share a valuable tool with y'all called GoodReads http://www.goodreads.com/. It is a very useful site for cataloging all the books that you have read, are reading, and are going to read... :book: It has been very useful to me. Btw you can also easily give recommendations to any friends you have on there. :rofl: So for any of you who have not heard of this, you should definitely check it out!

I'm on there too! It's pretty cool and it gives recommendations for other books you might like based on the books you have read or the genres that you like etc.
