Hello all!

I'm Captain Nemo's big sister, and I'm excited to join Holy Worlds! I write mostly non-fiction now (thanks Chemistry degree . . .) about philosophy, politics, and culture, but I occasionally still write fiction (mostly based on Lord of the Rings - some serious and some less so). I also love editing, so if anyone would like an extra set of eyes, I'd be glad to help!

Wow, what a welcome! I think I've gained five pounds just reading! :0 Maybe it's all the glitter . . . :D

I was travelling for school. I studied for 4 years in the UK and 1 year in Germany. I don't think I'll continue doing Chemistry now, but I've had an enjoyable run! :)

Most of my favorite books are historical fiction I read when I was younger, or detective/spy stories. I needed something to relax with when I was in the middle of chemistry textbooks :)

Oh wow! I hope you gleaned much from your travels and studies. ^^ What will you do now if you've now decided not to go with Chemistry?

Ooo! If you like historical fiction you will also love one of our sister forums Holy Worlds Historical Fiction. :D I'm on there as well since I also share the love of reading (and writing) historical fiction as well as fantasy.
