So we have a thread to compliment people's avatars and signatures, and I thought a thread for usernames would be a good idea.

Mod note: Comments and chatter from this thread have been moved here. Sorry about the inevitable confusion.

I have to say, I love Sir Emeth's username because it is completely unique. :D If there is another Sir Emeth Mimetes out there, I'll eat my hat. :D

I also really like Inesdar's. :D If it wasn't his character already, I'd nab it for my own charries. ;)

I think Sir Luke of Washougal gets the award for the most-frequently-changed username! I need a score-card to keep track of him o.O Though, Sir Phillip of Valor switched back-and-forth quite a few times awhile back.

I like it when users have names of their characters or ones they've made up. I think it's really neat to see the different styles. ^^

I've always liked Neil of Erk since it sounds so...cool-ish. :cool: And I'm rather fond of Duchess Daisy too. 'Tis sunshiney and medieval-ish. :D

I like Airianna Valenshia, because it's creative and it sounds beautiful.
I agree with Seer about Luke -it was okay as long as he kept the 'Luke', then he changed it to McGyver, and I was lost. Then he changed it back, now he's changed it again...
And I like Aeleknight.

For some reason, "Bethany Faith" fits Bethy's essence really well. Actually, So do Airi's, Sir Emeth's, Vanya's, and Luke's, as well as so many others.

What's the deal with names fitting completely with a person's essence? It happens every time, seems.

I'd imagine the reason my name fits me well is because I've had it all my life. ;)

Though the reason everybody's name seems to fit their essence so well might be because you always see them under that name, and so, after awhile, you start to associate that name with that essence... But that's just a guess. I'm probably wrong. :rofl:

Ok, I have deleted a lot of posts from this thread, per Hannah's request. See Hannah's post earlier in the thread here. The purpose of this thread is to simply announce your username change; therefore if you like the new username and want to discuss how much you like it, or any reaction you may have to the username change, please do so in an appropriate thread or in PM.

Sea- Not really. You can go to the UCP and change your name any time (As long as it's not for chat room pranks, or what is discouraged as stated in the rules) and just let us know in this thread.

Wow Caeli... that was amazing. Thankyou so much for sharing that with us. Changing my name was a big thing for me too, and I put a lot of emphasis on meanings as well, so I very much appreciate your post, and your name. Thankyou for taking it on. May we all, through the darkest times, yet praise Him.
