Has anyone ever read a DK book or played one of the CDs? I have read a couple eyewitness books by DK and have played one of their eyewitness CDs, called Earth Quest. I thought all of the books were really good, and the CD was amazing. I was surprised at how much information it held. I have also read the pocket version about gemstones, and really liked it. Since I like cats so much, I've been looking into the pocket version about cats. So, has anyone read these books by DK or played the CDs? (And it would be great if you have read the pocket cat book so you can tell me if it is good or not!)

LOVE,LOVE,LOVE! DK eyewitness books, they are great for research.
My favorite one that I own is about herbs and it's super helpful!
I've never read the cat one, but maybe you might want to check your library for it before you buy it because they can be kinda expensive :P.

I've got the DK Mammals Picturepedia. It's not in-depth, but it does have some interesting facts, like this one:
DK Mammals Picturepedia wrote:
A pangolin can't get its claws between its scales to scratch. So this "walking pine cone" lets ants climb over its body and eat the insects that cause the itch. When it wants to wash off the ants, it wades into a river. Then it eats the drowned ants.

DK is amazing. :D I have a book of theirs on Egyptology which I love. :D It's one of my most treasured books.
