I think there's definitely a place for a hard-hitting blog, if that's going to be your main goal. I agree with Calen, too - an intro post explaining your intentions is always good

| Post subject: | Blogging Advice |
I have been planning to start a blog for some time now but I have a slight problem. I have ideas for many informative topics to post but they are all rather hard hitting and I would like to start off with something a little more light so I can gain rapport before I delve into the big stuff. I'd still like to be analyzing things so do you guys have any suggestions as to what I could begin with? |

First off, what subject will you be focusing on your blog? I think a good starter post is an introduction. I like to know a little about the author of the blog. Then you can forewarn or give a heads up to the readers that you will be digging deep into some other topics later on. I hope that helps give you a better idea. ^^;; ~Calen |
