Post subject:  Newbie Zoey.
I just logged on for the first time to day, and I've gotta say, this place is so cool. I love writing, and finding this through the Rebelution, it sparked interest. But I hadn't really looked at it until... yesterday? I don't remember.

Any advice is greatly appreciated. Long ago I had joined another forum (of which I am no longer part of) and got scolded a little for not following an apparently very obvious rule. So any tips on what not to do would be appreciated! ;)

What not to do:

Say Fantasy is the worst genre.

Say that the LoTR movies were better than the books.

And (seriously, this time) don't make fun of, speak rudely to, or otherwise insult or offend any member.

Oh yeah...follow all the other rules too.

Tips:
• double check your posts before posting to insure proper grammar, spelling, formatting, etc.
• stay on topic/don't go off on tangents.

Hee hee... that's my inner editor coming out. Other than that, be friendly and have fun.

... and follow what Neil (or any other Marcher Lord, admin, HRM or Moderator) says.
