I came here by request of a good friend of mine, Eli McGowan. I don't know if anyone knows him as he was a member here who is, to my understanding, currently inactive.

That aside, hello. My name is Kayla, though my screen name is AeolianMode because I really enjoy music and Greek mythology. Aeolius is the Greek god of wind, and the word "aeolian" means "of the wind", though the Aeolian Mode is a natural A-minor scale in music.

I am moreso an artist and musical composer than I am a writer. I am working on a graphic novel called "Age of Mortality" found at http://www.btcomics.com and my art gallery can be found at http://aeolianmode.deviantart.com.

I enjoy roleplaying very much. I play Lord of the Rings Online on the server Landroval. My character's name is Kaikuro. I pop in there once a week or so so if you happen to play as well, I'd love to meet you there. And if anyone here enjoys text-based roleplaying and wants a partner just let me know.

I have been a Christian all my life and I have a great interest in high fantasy storytelling. This site seems to be a very complex setup and it will take me some time getting used to it, but I really like what I see so far and I hope to get to know you folks soon. Thank you for your time.

@Airi: I looked through your gallery, I am stunned. Your traditional work is very refined, I really love it! As far as my work goes, I use Photoshop CS4 with a Wacom tablet. I usually don't work traditionally.

@Evening: Thank you for the welcomes, it means a lot. Cubase AI4 is a sort of fancy-shmancy recording software that I still haven't figured out. Most of the time I just use an external microphone to record my music directly off my keyboard's system. Very inefficient work, but it's something.

*giggles * But see, Aeoli, I'm impressed with what you do. I can sketch, and I paint murals and all of that stuff, but I can't create what you do with the computer. I can photomanipulate, but I can't build on the computer without the pieces.

I am very impressed with the art that you do Aeolian!. I started Age of Mortality and I'm enjoying it. The art work is very impressive

I'm so excited that my art is being received so well already. You guys are so enthusiastic and accepting. I wish I'd found this place ages ago, I'd been losing momentum with making pages for my comic because I simply didn't feel like it mattered at all, but now I really want to get my next page released soon, hopefully this weekend. And I really hope I can find people to critique my script as well, as it always helps to get an outsiders opinion on certain developments in the script.

@Airi: I'm always impressed with people's traditional skills myself, as I have never really gotten the hang of traditional mediums. Technically I've been using digital mediums longer than traditional, if using MS Paint counts I just can't stand not having an 'undo' button which makes me lazy.

I think I read all of pages of The Age of Mortality (it is hard to tell if I got to the last page or the computer broke), and I like how much work you put into it, it makes me want to give a detailed review for each page. I bookmarked your songs page, and I have several of the songs downloaded onto my MP3 player.
