Post subject:  Honorary Siblings
Due to the delightful trend of HWers adopting other HWers as siblings, there is some confusion sometimes as to who is related to whom. To clear this up, I thought I'd start a thread for the listing of siblings so we can keep track of them. :)

As for me:

Crushmaster is my twin
Elly is my little sister

And I have a horrible feeling that I have another little sister that is slipping my mind at the moment. :blush: If you are my little sister and you are not listed, poke me hard, and know that you've earned my eternal apologies!

EDIT #2: Evenstar is my twin, Azlyn Mae is my sister (I haven't decided if she's a little sister, or a big one yet...Even though she's older than me :P )
And Silvie is my little sister! :D

Should we be posting our real sibling as well?

In that case then, Daniel and Josiah are my real big brothers.

Calenmiriel is my very first Green Buddy, so I believe she has definitely earned her honorary Big Sister badge from me. :D

Lady Elanor is my twin, which is quite a long story, but nonetheless awesome.

BushMaid is my Big Sister as well, for we have "known" each other for almost three years!

Ani and Bethy are also my Big Sisters, having adopted me first.

And I suppose that means Elanhil/Caleb would be my Big Brother. :D

Thanks, Eru! I'd still like to have a thread, however. :) I can't access GoogleDocs, and besides, it's nice to have it all here. :)

Sure, Alina, let's post real siblings! I didn't know Jonathan and Crushmaster were brothers for the longest time, so that'd be helpful.

Wow, Elly, lots of sisters! :D How nice.

For me anyway, just because your sibling has a sibling, their sibling is not your sibling, if that makes any sense at all. :D For example, even though Crush is my twin, Jonathan is not related to me, and even though Elly is my little sis, her other sisters aren't mine. :)

Actually, I don't think the chart was ever up to date... :P And we had the problem of people adding people to their list without the other party knowing they had been added so we ended up with "surprise siblings" and then things just got out of control. :roll:

For future reference:

Inesdar, Elanhil, and Emeth are my big brothers... In that order. ;)

Elly and Emmalina Cedar are my little sisters.

PrincessoftheKing, Amanda Kondrael, Shawn Henderson, Raven of the Wood, Elmirza, and whoever-else-that-has-adopted-me-in-the-past are my big sisters. (I got so many big sisters when I joined HW, there's no way I can remember them all. :P)

BushMaid is my happy twin/big sister.

And I don't have any real siblings on HW... Well, my older sister has an account but she isn't active so I don't count her. :P

    Airia is my big sister.
    Amanda, Calen, Estar, Sylvie, Jess, and Aspenae are my sisters.
    Captain Nemo is my "twin" here and in real life. Long story there. o.O ;)

*Chuckles* I find this kind of thing funny because no matter how well we know each other, we are all brothers and sisters. ;) Also, there is a few people on that chart I haven't adopted, and others I've been adopted by and never knew about. o.O

Wowness, Elly! Three years? :shock: Amazing! *hugs Elly tight* It doesn't seem like that long, yet it seems like forever. :D

DairyMaid is my real sister. :D We picked similar names for this reason, so it would be less confusing. ;)

Recently Suiauthon has become my twinnie-hermit. :D

I shall follow Alina and make you into my sister as well! Yay! You can be my big sister or my little sister, or just my sister like Alina. A short time ago, I didn't have any siblings either. Then recently I've adopted BushMaid as my big sister, and then just be reading this thread I got 2 more sisters, you and Alina! At this rate, I'll have a whole family pretty quickly!

I don't have any real siblings on HW, but that's ok, because I've got Bushy, Alina and Silvie! *hugs all three adopted sisters tightly.*

See, the thing is -- I know that I'm a sister in Christ to everyone on this site already. But to me, the "adopted siblings" are something special. Not a better relationship necessarily, but a different relationship God wants me to have with that person than the others on the site.

Right now Crushmaster and Elly are people that I think God wants me to take special effort to encourage, care about, and pray for.

If that makes sense... :D
