Well, as some of you HWers may know, I've been moving across continents the past few months, since the end of May through the first week of August. I've been on-again, off-again {more off than on, I'm afraid}. Now, however, I'm finally settled into the place where I'll be staying through August. Then it's onward, moving to a town 45 minutes away, then to another state come November, and finally to Asia again in late December.

To sum up, I'm out of the worst of it, but there's still a storm to weather.

Which means I'm going to need some major help here! I've got so many things I'd like to do on HW in the time I've got - I managed to work a lot more on my unnamed world, and so I have lots of tidbits on it coming up. Plus lots more on my main characters. And I have the rudiments of languages formed. And so many new photos to update on the arts guild. So, would y'all please hold me accountable to do this stuff, not just read everything and reply to stuff?

Ok, and one more thing: I feel really lost and left behind in all the last few crazy months. Would y'all {anyone/everyone} mind either replying to this thread or PMing me about major things {and minor ones} that have been going on? Any editorial things, Elly/Phili/Miri/anybody? New events? New folks? I'll be doing plenty on my own too, of course, but I could really use some help.

Evenstar! So good to have you back! There have been a lot of new members, lately. (I'm not sure how much of this is new for you, but I'll write it anyway!) Olorea has merged with the HW art gallery, and we now have a photo-of-the-month competition after which we have a photomanipulation contest with said photo-of-the-month.

Erm... What else is there... Timotheous has started a thread for a HW short story book, there are a few other projects floating about I think... but that's all I can come up with at the moment!

Also, thanks for the news!! Thankfully I managed to rummage up enough books to participate in that ever-awesome Read-a-Thon! (Not as many as I'd like, certainly, but not too few either considering how much time I've not had for reading ) And thanks bunches and bunches for your prayers. I can certainly use every one.

The hosting will allow us to continue to add to and improve HW, but until we do those things, it still looks/functions the same. It should also cut out some of our bug issues. *grabs the exterminating equipment and places the gasmask over her face *

Ok, so changing hosts wouldn't change too much (merely cheaper and more effective). Sounds fab!
