Hey!

Really-quick-while-I-sit-in-a-random-dunkin-donuts-place-stealing-their-kindly-given-wifi:

My area got hit pretty badly by a hurricane and my power has been out for the past three days. :P Aaaaand, the power might not be back for...a week... Or so... So I will be non-existent. Be back once the power returns! :wave:

Ick! Sounds like us. I do not like this weather, Miss Bethy, especially since I don't actually live here.

The Rainbow in the Storm- My Blog

Be careful of your thoughts; guard your mind, for your thoughts become words. Be guarded when you speak, for your words turn into action. Watch what you do, for your actions will become habits. Be wary of your habits, for they become your character. Pray over your character; strive to mold it to the image of Christ, because your character will shape your destiny.

Ideas can germinate from the smallest seeds. Collect those seeds, and let them grow in the back of your mind. You may be surprised by what finally blooms.

When God takes something from your grasp, he's not punishing you. Instead, He’s opening your hands to receive something better. The will of God will never take you where the Grace of God will not protect you.

The Diegosian Rider, 121,400 words (Finished)
The Diegosian Warrior, 15,000 (In Progress)

Aww. :( I'll miss ya, little sister, but it's good to know you & your family weren't hurt by the storm! (yes, I spent all weekend worrying about you, what else are big sisters for? ;) )

I'm glad to hear you're all right. I hope your power is restored soon. :D I know what it's like to go without it. :P

Yes, we do. :P

Praise God that it wasn't any worse. May He bless you again with power very soon!
God bless,

* loves irony * :rofl:

Sooooo.... We came from Dunkin Donuts today and... We had power! :dieshappy: Which means we will get to eat actual food and sleep! Woo!

It also means I have Internet (obviously) and will try to keep up with you guys and figure out what's been going on. But we still have things to clean up and so on so I just might be a bit sporadic as to my online visits the next few days, but we have power! Which is really awesome! :D * resists urge to use dieshappy again *

Ooh, that must have been scary. Glad you're safe and all is well! :)

It wasn't scary, just uncomfortable. But when we finally accepted that we would be living a prairie existence for the rest of our lives... Our power got back. And here I was just about to change my name to Laura. :rofl:

No... Seriously. ;) Hehe.

* hugs Shawn back * :D

Bahaha! :rofl: We had that happen once. Our power went out when we were about to have dinner, so we lit kerosene lanterns and candles, and sat down at a very pretty candlelight dinner when bing! The power came back on. :roll: It killed the atmosphere very thoroughly, let me tell you. :D

Glad you have your power back, Bethy! :D

Ha ha ha hee ho, hm, I hate it when that happens! You've finally had the taste of being rather "deprived" (and liking it too), then it's stripped away! :shock:

And yes, I totally echo everyone's sentiments--I'm so glad God kept you safe from further harm and damage, and equally grateful that your power's back! :D
