. . .bold dragons, stumped goblins, high-chaired elves, cookie-baking pretend-elves (no offense meant), bearded dwarves, bearded lizards, and otherwise fascinating or not-so fascinating hospitable folks. *tips hat* I am the Blizzard of Fire, otherwise known as Miguel in simple terms. I've heard a lot of good about Holy Worlds for quite some time, but for one reason or another was always held back from joining. Until now anyway. So, I extend my hand and am looking forward to meeting you all. Or, actually, "re-meeting" in the case of some of ya'll. God bless, good writing, and otherwise have a grand day. . . Blitz~ |

MIIIIIIG! MI AMIGO!  Ahem. Proper introductions are in order. Mig and I always agree on...everything. It's sort of a long-running inside joke on the OYAN forum. If I don't have time to write up my thoughts on something, I just say, "When Mig gets here he'll sum up what I think very well." And he does, better than I would say it. So we always agree. Except about carrots, but carrots aren't important anyway.  He's awesome and cool and funny and all sorts of good stuff and don't let him tell you otherwise.He and I, along with one other OYAN member, are the thread hijacking 'Three Amigos.' Watch out if SHE joins this forum too.  We made our own thread for chatting over there so we wouldn't hijack so much.

Thanks all for the kind welcomes ^.^ Not to mention the mah-vuh-lush cookies cooked by the non-fake-elf maiden. Aldara: I'm taking a semi-hiatus after finishing one of my other projects, but yes, I'm kinda writing (more like plotting) a couple new pieces of writing right now. *decides to be... vague* One is a sequel to the book I just finished, and the other is a slightly heavier novel about an abortionist. Airianna: What brought me here? I'm not sure really I guess I just joined because I knew this was a growing community and I wanted to see what God was doing through HW for myself. Evenstar: Hm... I shall be sure to come up with an extravagant nickname for you--something involving cookies  As to your question, I do indeed. I enjoy Lewis, Dekker, Alcorn, Peretti, and a good many others that I'm too lazy to list at the moment. My number one influence would have to be Tolkien, however, as he is the man who first pushed me into the writing world.Luke: Do I know you? *blink* ... I wouldn't say two days is late on a welcome....you just seem to have a very interesting intro that is, actually, quite entertaining. I am a knight and the fourth mate of Captain Nemo. (No doubt you'll meet her.) Tolkien, eh? I must reread those books...he is a fantastic author. For now, I will have to agree with Lady Alina on the nickname. Zard. That is, until you come up with a fancier sort of one. Did I mention I really love your signature? Very very well done. It's an intriguing picture from the perspective it is written in. -Little People climb ropes in their Rope House and do tricks from one rope to another, then swing in a spinning arch out the window into the lake nearby- You must meet these Little People sometime. Except that my Little People aren't blue, don't wear white "gowns" and "sleeping" hats, and they definitely do not have tails. Their skin tends to be the color of chocolate, their clothes sewn from tree threads, and they live near the forest in the center of rock. Plus, they are only a three inches tall. They just tend to love airobatics. Of course, when the First Queen disappears, they become a hunted race. Rewards are given to those hunters who bring back their bodies, dead or alive. If alive, most likely they will be enslaved. Those are my Little People, yes. ...I should look into these Smurfs though. They must be extremely distant relations of some sort. Perhaps. |
