One of the things that used to be pretty big on HW was Essence Mapping. Sadly not many people seem interested in it anymore. My guess is because it looks rather confusing and intimidating at a first glance. But once you get past your fear and try it once, it becomes a lot easier and a lot less intimidating. If you look in the Essence Room you'll find a tutorial for FirstX (the easiest form to learn). You'll also find a tutorial for the more advanced X+ for once you've mastered FirstX and are ready for the next level.

Also...you'll find Essence Map Challenges from Seer, that I hope to be posting periodically. So don't be shy! Stick your nose into the essence room and enter the exciting world of essence mapping And as an added incentive, our master avatar-crafter, White Raven has an offer in the Arts Guild to make custom avatars based on your FirstX and X+ Essence Maps! I hope to see lots of brilliant Essence Maps popping up in the Essence room before too long.
