I LOVE dogs! We just got a border collie puppy. Her name is Tessa. I love training her new tricks.

Jonathon, roofs are extremely comfortable. Sometimes I'll take my notebook up there and write for awhile. It helps the flow of the brain.

That sounds like fun! I like walking on the roof of our schoolroom. I'm home schooled so we have a special room for school stuff. Lately we have been using it for watching movies and playing board games.

Just finished ninth, so I'm starting grade ten this September.

Hello, Way! Nice to 'meet' you. Hmm, how did the interest in sitting on roofs come around? I was homeschooled as well, Way. Yep, there are lots of homeschoolers here.

Yep, I am a homeschool graduate. I start college this year though... (I had three college classes last Fall but my parents wanted me to wait so that I could live on campus.)
Have you finished any of your novels yet?

Let's see... It probably came from having friends who loved climbing trees and roofs. I had to keep up, you see. Also, I have a little ledge under my bedroom window. It is just perfect for sitting on and thinking. I tried it once or twice and it happened to be addicting.

Finished my novels? I don't think a book is ever really finished. At one stage you send it away, but you can always do more.
Now, to answer your question, not really. I completed the rough draft of a novel during NaNoWriMo, but I haven't had time to go back and rework it yet.
The other main book I'm working on probably won't be finished til I'm fifty.

Welcome, Way-chan! I'm another homeschooler. Mmmm... interesting comment about roofs!

Woot! Another roof-sitter! Isn't that the best? We have a small house-looking shed that was build way back in 1913 (like our house) in the backyard that my brother and I love to climb up onto. It's cool because there's a Bur Oak growing next to the "Playhouse" as we called it as kids, and a Sugar Maple, so it is nice and shaded. We climb up the maple in order to get on the rooftop.

Anyhoo, I should probably end this with a welcome since I didn't start it off that way... ^^;; Welcome to Holy Worlds! I hope you enjoy this site, and I look forward to seeing you (and all the other new members as well) around here once I have more time to pop on. ^^

How did you come up with your name, out of curiosity? I was wondering since I know -chan is a Japanese suffix. : )

You are correct about it being a Japanese suffix.
I got it off a different forum I'm part of. The girls there believe in nicknames and random name generators. In other words:
They went to a random name generator that gave them the name Waynard which was shortened to Way. Chan was added later, due to an interest in Japanese culture.
