Greetings and felicitations all,

Today our beloved bard, harpist, poet, and Council member is turning twenty-one! And thus it behooves us to regale her with a fete of epic proportions, correct?

Correct.

So I would like you all to elucidate your most profound felicitations of the most salubrious sort in this thread, and to private message her as well with your well-wishes.

And I would ask that you bring your congratulatory remarks to bear upon a unified point: How much you appreciate and trust her. She's really an incredibly awesome person, and this forum wouldn't be ticking the way it is without her. We all rely on her a lot, even if she's behind the scenes a lot.

So remove the scene's backdrop and let her come center stage! (And don't let her hit me if I got my stage terminology wrong...)

I can't believe I missed this! :'( Katie! I can't tell you how happy I am that we started chatting more after I joined Holy Worlds. You are incredibly dear to me. Long story here, filled with excuses, and then we can get on with the proper response to such a thread, and then we can get on with cleaning out GD.

It's almost a month since my birthday, and I'm finally here, you say? Yes, well, see, I sort of skipped my birthday this year. I say sort of because I also had two birthdays. and for the first one, the real one, I wasn't home. I was off at the Clemens, and not on the computer a whole lot. Hence why this thread sort of got overlooked on my return. And then, well, then I was busy, and stuff happened and life and things...

And then Bethany asked me for a job and I proposed cleaning out GD and she asked if I had seen this. Well, yes, I'd seen it, part of it, that is, but I hadn't been able to respond at the time and then, oh horror of horrors, I forgot! :shock:

So here I am. Sir Emeth, I should have guessed that you would decide you'd had enough of me starting threads for you and flip the tables on me this time. Your stage terminology isn't technical enough to get wrong, so don't worry about that.

Everyone who said they were late, missed it, or otherwise... you weren't as late as me so don't feel bad. And thanks for posting anyway.

To all of HW: Thank you. Thank you so much. Thank you for being this forum, and for making it all worth it. I love you guys, all two hundred and sixty whatever there are. There's something special about this place that makes me happy whenever I'm around. :dieshappy:

And now... *deep breath* we can lock and archive this thread. Wait, not now, not until everyone's got a chance to see that I'm not as rude as I appear to be... ;)
