I thought it might be neat to know what kind of things you like to collect. So, is there anything that you really like to collect?

I like to collect model animals (including Breyer horses), all different kinds of coins, any items to do with cats, different kinds of rocks, food or animal shaped erasers, and decorative fake food. Out of all of these, I like collecting decorative fake food the most. I'm not sure why, but I just really like it.

Weapons. And flashlights, multi-tools, etc. Stuff like that - first-aid kits, survivaly stuff, etc. - interests me.

Besides that, umm...
God bless,

I have collected an impressive amount of model horses (most of the being Breyers). I finally stopped due to lack of room and future thinking. Some day I'll move out of the house and these will all need to come with me!

I also collect various feathers like those from Bluejays, Baltimore Orioles, etc.

I also love collecting leaves and flowers to press and use on cards. :D

I have been collecting music boxes, globes, fountains, and figurines ever since my first birthday. My parents started the tradition, and it has carried on through the years. I have some lovely pieces, and all of them have some memory connected to them. :D

I collect money. :D

More seriously... I used to collect toy horses of any size and shape (*points to Calen* Her fault!) but lost interest in them (can I blame Calen for that too? ;) ) and sold them when we moved a few years back. So now I don't collect anything, unless you count drawing supplies and books. :D

Yeah, that's it. I've found SCUBA gear, rock-climbing equipment, laptops, and HAM radios are too expensive to collect any thing.

I used to collect the little soda can openers that are on top of soda cans. I recycled them a few months ago. I think I had 89 or something like that. :D

I collect quotes...it's possible! :P I have a notebook and whenever I hear a really awesome quote, I write it down...of course, the notebook is just for looks because, for whatever reason, I remember most of the quotes that I hear anyways.

And I used to collect small sculptures and such, but then I ran out of room, haha.

I collect nickels. I've been adding to my nickel jar since I was about...twelve? Every time someone is counting loose change, if I see some nickels in there, my eyes light up and I say, "Do you want to trade me for those nickels? Wait right here, and I'll go get you a quarter!"

Also, I collect (or did collect) shards of colorful glass. I love colored glass. I would pick up pieces I found near the sidewalk, grind the edges down, and place them in another jar.

If I had more room, I would collect colored glass jars and bottles and such.
[By the way, anyone know where to get Ruby Red glass? I've only seen it very expensive in antique stores. It is such a pretty color.]

I've collected business cards, bottle tops, horses (not real ones :P) and lego in the past :P I don't collect or have any of those any more, although I do have several business cards I kept: when I was about twelve, I contacted every governor's office and asked for their business card - I got about seventeen, and about half of them were autographed. I've kept those :D (I actually got one from when Palin was governor of Alaska - it's autographed too :D)

Now about the only thing I collect is old books. I have some McGuffey Readers from around the turn of the century (one is from 1896), although two are reproductions. The First reader isn't, I'm pretty sure; it's the oldest I have. I also have about eight first-edition Hardy Boys from the early 1900s; 1920s I think. Then I have some old dictionaries and a Bible. *loves old books * :D I'm still trying to fill out the Hardy Boys collection with others from the same era, but it's really hard to get your hands on them :)

Ooo! I also collect Schleich dogs. So far I have Charlie the Saint Bernard, Jake the Bernese Mountain Dog and his puppy Lucky, Shadow the Golden Retriever and his two puppies Napoleon and Butterscotch, Rex and Natasha the Dalmatians and their two puppies Scout and Nala, Chase the German Shepherd and his puppy Rover, and Apollo the Great Dane. I also have a couple horses and foals. :D

I'm odd. I've been collecting unsharpened pencils since I was little. Not pencils that have been sharpened, just the ones that are like new. I'm not sure how many I have.
Also, I collect spoons. Not normal ones, just ones from places that I've been, with the names on them. I'm running out of space on my little plaque to hang them on.
That's about all. When I was younger I collected gum wrappers, but I lost them.

Oh my goodness, I collected gum wrappers, too. First I snipped them into tiny little silver snowflakes, and when I got tired of doing that, I glued some all over the outside of a plastic container. I still have that container, and it has about 20 gum wrappers inside.

Ooh!!! So that is what sea glass is. Quite lovely. That would go nicely with my agate collection.

The Rainbow in the Storm- My Blog

Be careful of your thoughts; guard your mind, for your thoughts become words. Be guarded when you speak, for your words turn into action. Watch what you do, for your actions will become habits. Be wary of your habits, for they become your character. Pray over your character; strive to mold it to the image of Christ, because your character will shape your destiny.

Ideas can germinate from the smallest seeds. Collect those seeds, and let them grow in the back of your mind. You may be surprised by what finally blooms.

When God takes something from your grasp, he's not punishing you. Instead, He’s opening your hands to receive something better. The will of God will never take you where the Grace of God will not protect you.

I sort of collect horse stuff. Not models, really, but actual horse-care equipment. So far I have a saddle, a few saddle-pads, a lead rope, a trick training book, and riding clothes. I'm going to be getting a helmet and grooming kit soon. :) In theory, once my collection is complete (still need a bridle, halter, lunge line, and lunge whip) I'll be equipped to take care of/ride/purchase a horse without having to go out and spend a million dollars on new tack. Most of the stuff I have is used.

I also collect old school boy stories, my favourite are by Gunby Hadath. I have probably over 20 at the moment, but I have very little space on my bookshelves, so I have put that on a hold for now. :) I love collecting old, old books. I once found a really old letter in one as well. They seem to hold a really special spell, if that makes sense, capturing something from the past.

Oooo... cool, horse items! And Lady Elanor, a old letter in a old book? That's neat!

I know, I left it in it because it almost seemed like part of the book. :)

I collect knives, books and guitars. I only have a few guitars, but I'm working on that.

What kind of books do you collect? You know, if they are antique, new, collectable, series, mysteries, or other kinds.

I like to think that I collect collections... :dieshappy: On the topic of books I like to collect Dear Canada Diaries and various Lewis/Tollkien books. My mom used to have an entire shelf (about 40-50) of Magic Tree House books... And I think we have at least 70 Boxcar Childern books... I'm thirteen, and I still love these books :dieshappy:
