I thought I would let you guys know that, after this week, I probably won't be on HW much at all until summer ends.
...but I do have a good excuse!
On July 9th I'm leaving for my first missions trip of the summer, to an orphanage in Mississippi. Then, on July 26, I'm going to Africa for my second missions trip!
I'm ridiculously excited about both of them, and I'm hoping that I will be able to show God's love to everyone I meet... so please pray for me!This will be my fifth trip to Palmer Home (the orphanage in Mississippi), so I'm not really nervous about that one, but I am a little nervous about going to Africa. It'll be totally different from anything I'm used to, and I have no idea what to expect. But that actually makes me really excited, too; I can't help but think of it as an adventure.
Anyway... please pray that I won't be selfish in any way while I'm there, and that I'll be willing to serve without complaining. And pray that God will prepare the hearts of the people we'll meet!
I'll miss y'all, and I can't wait to tell you all about it when I get back!
