Well, first off, I might as well say that I haven't written a word of fantasy in at least a year, so the shunning can begin right now if that's a big deal. But seriously, I do love to write, and I'm mainly joining in hopes of getting re-inspired to dig up my old fantasy series and get back to work on it. Also, I've seen that there's lots of good advice here for writers from any genre, so there's another good reason to join. Plus, one of my friends has been wanting me to join for a while, but that has had absolutely nothing whatsoever to do with my final decision. So, now for some random facts. I mainly write action, adventure. At least, over the last few years, that's been my main thing. I have an obsession with pirates and history. I love reading, something I do way too much of. I'm a diehard Tolkien and Lewis fan. I love music. Last but not least, I don't think I'm ever going to lose a certain amount (okay, a pretty large quantity) of zaniness even though I'm supposed to be a dignified, clever person by this time. Ummm. That's about all I can think of to say for now, but if anyone has things they're curious to know or random trivia questions, ask away! The worst I can do is not answer. I'm rather excited to be on a forum with a bunch of Christian writers and look forward to meeting ya'll. |

Hello there! Welcome to HWFF! I hadn't written any fantasy when I first joined here. I have read some Tolkien but not as much as some of the other guys on here. What does your username mean? It has a nice ring to it. |

Welcome to Holy Worlds, Morana! There will be no shunning here! I haven't written anything original or fantasy for a couple years myself. You're not the first with hopes of being re-inspired. It's something we members try to exercise daily here. Which friend has wanted you to join? *must know!* If you love pirates and history (as do I) You'll also have to check out the Holy Worlds Historical forum when it comes up. Yay, music! There are days my writing relies on music! I've gotta run, but, welcome again! ~Calen |

Welcome, welcome, welcome, Morana!! Hm, yes, your name certainly does have a pleasant ring to it... very unusual, that. I'm sure there is absolutely no connection whatsoever *sarcastic voice*, but my username happens to be Evenstar {by the way, you can call me Dawn or Estar, as you like In honor of our fellow Tolkieneshness, bring on the glitter! *swirls glitter around the thread in every nook and cranny, then steps back and admires the effect until blinded by sunlight on glitter.
