Is there a difference between Gryphon and Griffin? The only place I've ever seen "Gryphon" Is "Alice in wonderland" Most other places it's "Griffin" or "Griffon"

I voted for the pegasus. That probably comes from my love of horses. :D

I was trying to decide between the Kraken and the Gryphon, and chose the Kraken. All of the creatures in the list are not as developed in Iniel as one-eyed Giants, other sorts of Giants, limited Shapeshifters, Headless Men, Mermen, and others.

Technically, the Leviathan is not a fantasy creature. But then, perhaps that is why I love it best. A creature with such fantastic and unfathomable power and strength that is completely realistic! It somewhat reminds me of so many aspects of God... No wonder it's my favorite.

I don't believe there's an actual difference. For myself, I prefer the spelling of gryphon, so that's what I use.

I voted for gryphons, although I also like dragons and unicorns. (Funny...those are the three that exist on my primary world... :P ) And Ines, I want to know what your favorite one is, too.

Gryphon is supposed to be the creature and Griffin is a surname based off of it... they've become interchangeable now. Excuse me while I have a chat with C.S. Lewis about the usefulness of the English language...

Tell me tell me! Or better yet: Create a riddle and let me solve it! It's a win win. You still get to "not reveal your secret creature" and I know what it is!

I've heard of Naga before, but pretty much the only reason I remember it is that creatures called Naga show up in a game I play. :P

Well, anyhoo, I definitely voted for dragons, although I have a preference for the more exotic, delicate creatures. Fairies and the like. But all these creatures are fascinating!

Be careful of your thoughts; guard your mind, for your thoughts become words. Be guarded when you speak, for your words turn into action. Watch what you do, for your actions will become habits. Be wary of your habits, for they become your character. Pray over your character; strive to mold it to the image of Christ, because your character will shape your destiny.

Ideas can germinate from the smallest seeds. Collect those seeds, and let them grow in the back of your mind. You may be surprised by what finally blooms.

When God takes something from your grasp, he's not punishing you. Instead, He’s opening your hands to receive something better. The will of God will never take you where the Grace of God will not protect you.

You could also argue the dragon is not a fantasy creature.

Dragons are not strictly Fantasy creatures, in the sense that there are real dragons, and they are Fantasy creatures, in the sense that there are made up dragons, and made up kinds of dragons.

 Woah, she's good.

Yes, you could argue that. But Leviathans are 100% legit and real because the Bible says so. You don't even have to argue there!

That is true, I believe that probably dragons were certain types of dinosours a couple thousand years back! :dieshappy:

*chuckles * Creatures in my Trilogy. Brendan and I discussed them a long time ago, and I got to hear about his dream/nightmare. ;)

Dragons are fantasy creatures in that they are used in fantasy, and almost exclusively in fantasy. Just because they have basis in reality doesn't make them any less fantastical. :D

Yes, actually. Well, of the Diegose, not of the Borrodag. Here is the link:

I probably need to update this, but it will give you a good idea of the general gist.
