It's that time of year when the days start to cool, the summer begins to wind down, and the family gets itching for a vacation.

I just wanted to let everybody know that I'll be out of town next week. As in fairly rural mountain location. Not tent camping, but staying in a cabin that's probably shorter than our car. Seriously. As in no internet. As in no HW. :'(

We've been having a rather hectic life lately, especially Dad, so what better cure than to head up into the high country (Rocky Mountains for anyone who doesn't live in Colorado) where life is slow and easy, and you can go fishing and boating and hiking to your heart's content. :x :D

We'll be really busy this weekend packing to get ready, so if you don't see me around the forums or in the chat room, that's the explanation.

Lord willing I'll be back on Friday (barring anything catastrophic), and then I can find out all the fun you guys had without me. ;)

Just wanted to let everyone know that I'm back. We had a great time resting and relaxing. There's something about the mountains that is peacefully calm, where the pace is slower and life is less complicated.

Ahhh.

But now that I'm home, I'm switching to real-life mode again. Don't be surprised if I go on a posting binge to make up for lost time. :D

Yes, I've been around the forum a lot since I got back. Will be posting more once I finish my book in a couple days. Mountains are cool both in impression and in temperature.

Thanks for the welcome back, guys.
