And it is ON! You can now start reading books like crazy fantasy writers and racking up your totals. :D

This thread is solely for reporting page totals. Please do not chat in this thread! (Chatty posts may be deleted without warning.) Only post when you've finished a new book.

When posting your totals, try to follow this format:
Quote:
Read a book, then post the title, author, and number of pages in one of the Summer Read-a-Thon forum threads. At the bottom of your post, keep a running total of pages you’ve read so far. Here’s a sample:

Quote:
Treasure Island, by Robert Louis Stevenson. 336 pages.

Pippi Longstocking, by Astrid Lindgren. 160 pages.

The Cricket in Times Square, by George Selden. 144 pages.

Running total: 640 pages

It is recommended that participants use a calculator to add up their running total.

For complete rules and details on the contest, go here: viewtopic.php?f=35&t=3411

And they're off! :dieshappy:

Just a reminder from a mod (and a counter!) - please, no chatting in this thread! Jordan and I are going to be going insane keeping up with your totals as it is, so please make it easy on us. :D If you want to ask someone a question, hit the "PM" button!

ALSO... when posting your totals, please just post the new books. Do not keep a running list of books, just a running total of pages. The reason for this is that it makes it easier for the counters to see which books you are adding so we can double-check your math.

Thanks!

I won NANOWRIMO 2011!!!

Albert Einstein asked a question that sometimes makes me hazy: " Am I or are the others crazy ?” ;)

"I once said I would kill this man but now I'm multipling him?" Ana shouted to the sky almost crying as she did so.
The tall dark Assasian Maverick stood watching her, his inqisitive eyes locked on her like a bird on its prey, he had heard what she had said, it came like an avelanch to him, His and Ana's life was about to get a lot more complicated
(This about somes up my storys plot)
