Well met! It has been so nice to get to see a community of more Christian writers! I found this sight through the Rebelution forum, and am SO excited to be here! I love to write whenever I can, and am currently working on an allegorical novel meant to speak about the Advent of Jesus Christ. Cats are my favorite animal, and I LOVE climbing trees with my beautiful feline. |

Thank you! Something I probably should have added is that I am a huge Tolkien fan. |

Welcome, Mindy! It's great to have you! I also like climbing trees, though not with a cat as we don't have any cats. I look forward to reading your writing and getting to know you better! God bless, Carissa |

Quote: I guessed that. Are you more partial to Aule or Yavanna? That's tricky. And it's great to meet you too, Carissa! (or should I call you Duchess?) Always wonderful to meet a fellow writer, and sister in Christ. |

Greetings and welcome! I'm Daniel, but most call me Knight, or something along those lines. The Valar are really cool! And at the moment the name of my favorite slips my mind... Anyway, Welcome! God Bless, ~Daniel, Knight of Elyon |

Mindy E. wrote: Quote: I guessed that. Are you more partial to Aule or Yavanna? That's tricky. Ah, yes. I like that her tears brought forth the sun and the moon out of the dead trees of light. Very imaginative. How many of Middle Earth's 'background books' have you read (Unfinished Tales,Book of the Lost Tales 1&2, Lays of Beleriand, etc.)? |

My favorite is Oromë. |

Orome...I thought he was one of the Maia? And I've only read the New Silmarrillion. (it's a compilation of the history of middle earth, and a bunch of other shorter works of Tolkien, put together by his son, Christopher.) |

No. He is the Great Rider, and the Huntsman of the Valar. His wife is... Vána, I think. |

That's really funny. It's okay, somebody thought my little brother was my bf. I beat them up. Seriously. |
