Apparently I forgot to mention I won’t be around much today or tomorrow. :P The history buff is jet setting all over New York and New Jersey, going to as many historical monuments as possible. So I’ll check in at night, but you may not see me much. I’m also going to spend the day with some old military friends. The Kelley’s were stationed with my family on three different occasions, and we remained lifelong friends. Their boys are my age, so we were very close growing up together. They even lived with us at one point. They are 9/11 survivors, so since we are here in Manhattan, we are gonna take the opportunity to spend the day with them tomorrow.

I will also be going to Philadelphia to see the Liberty Bell (and other things) Saturday and Sunday of next weekend, just so you guys know. So I’m all right, and still alive. I’m just not checking in on the web. ;)

Miss you round here Kait! But honestly it's good to get out and spend time with friends, so no prob. Have fun browsing the monuments, is this the first time you've seen them?

I've been all over, and visited lots of historical sites, monuments, and battleships sites. These particular sites we are visiting, I have not seen. So it's been fun.

But seeing my Aunt (they aren't related, but you end up with lots of aunts and uncles in the military) and the boys (Darren is no longer around) may just be the highlight. ;) Although, it is hard to top the monuments and historical sites.

*Huggles Airianna* Come back soon and enjoy your trip!

May the road rise up to meet you.
May the wind always be at your back.
May the sun shine warm upon your face,
and rains fall soft upon your fields.
And until we meet again,
May God hold you in the palm of His hand.

Aww... Come back soon! *sniffs a little bit*

When I first read, "I will also be going to Philadelphia", I almost thought it was Philli you were talking about! That's what I get for skimming.

Ooooo! Have a great time, Airianna! (This is the first I've hear of your noted absence since I've been off the map myself lately.) :P Luckyyyy! It's like you get to live National Treasure! :D Also, have a delightful time visiting old friends. I agree, I have many "aunts and uncles" who are not blood related. (I even call them by that title.) ;)

Oh you bet I'm living National Treasure. ;) Ya'll know how I feel about that movie. In fact, guess who drug her family to the Wall Street and Broadway intersection? And guess what we saw there? (for shame if you have seen National Treasure and do not know what is at the intersection)

*giggles and rolls eyes * Well, we did see the Walle Street Bull, for those interested (obviously we were ;) ), but no, none of those things are even close to the intersection.

Trinity Church, people! Trinity church is at that intersection! *is so ashamed no one knew that *

*chuckles * Oh I knew you, my fellow National Treasure Lover, would know. :D Yep, I was there. Very awesome, not only because it was in NT ;), but also because of the historical value tied up in the church. :D

Okay, my Philadelphia trip has started. Off to the Liberty bell, and other such things. I'll be scarce, but as always, if you need something, I'll take care of you while driving. :D

Have fun! I went to Phli a couple months ago; real fun place! Go to Pats and Gino's and get some Phili steak sandwhiches...mmm..
And also; they have really good pretzals over there!
If you can then bring me back some virtual pretzals!

*laughs * Your comments were fun to come back to. *dishes out requested gifts *

Okay, I’m back from Philadelphia. Lots to get caught up on, but I am back. Had lots of fun, saw lots of historically rich places, and got to immerse myself in a place where our country began.

I may not have gotten into the same kind of adventures as Ben Gates, but I had plenty of my own. I also ran through the streets of Philli just about as fast as Abigail Chase and Riley Poole a couple times. :D The entire adventure was wonderful, and ended with Elianna zonked on my shoulder.

*laughs * Yeah, and carrying the cuteness is an exhausting job. She's getting heavy, and when she becomes dead weight, ugh! I survived though, even though her curly head left a pool of sweat soaked into my shirt. :D

They were lots of fun. :D

Be careful of your thoughts; guard your mind, for your thoughts become words. Be guarded when you speak, for your words turn into action. Watch what you do, for your actions will become habits. Be wary of your habits, for they become your character. Pray over your character; strive to mold it to the image of Christ, because your character will shape your destiny.

Ideas can germinate from the smallest seeds. Collect those seeds, and let them grow in the back of your mind. You may be surprised by what finally blooms.

When God takes something from your grasp, he's not punishing you. Instead, He’s opening your hands to receive something better. The will of God will never take you where the Grace of God will not protect you.

The Diegosian Rider, 121,400 words (Finished)
