The Promotion of Bethany Faith was conducted with all ceremonies in the Chat Room this morning. Please note; the celebratory comments were edited for length, so that we could include all of Bethy's priceless reactions, without making this post as long as the rest of the thread is likely to be. :rofl:

Vanya Katerina Jaynin: *puts on a very solemn face* Attention ye Holy Worlders, I bid your attention.

Bethany Faith: O.o *gives Vanya my attention*

Vanya Katerina Jaynin: And I command silence, for the Great Emeth Speaks!

Sir Emeth Mimetes: * snaps fingers while uttering a dramatic spell of lightness *

Inesdar: *puts on equally solemn face*

Sir Emeth Mimetes: [a deafening crack splits the air, the air ripping asunder from the violence of the sound.]

Bethany Faith: :shock: *hides behind my big brother*

Sir Emeth Mimetes: [the ground rents, sending gravel flying into the air, which explodes in showers of brilliantly colored sparks]
[a bottomless abyss opens slowly at Bethith's feet, a shining, warm light illuminating her face from its depths]

PrincessoftheKing: *pops in* :shock:

Dieki Kondrael: Wow... big on dramatic effect...

Vanya Katerina Jaynin: Shh...Princess...

Bethany Faith: ABBY!! *hides behind my big sister* I don't think I was patience enough.

Sir Emeth Mimetes: [a light swirling cloud appears, flickers, and grows within it, rising faster and faster until it erupts from the crater into the misty air, resolving itself into minute particles of rainbow glitter]

PrincessoftheKing: *is quiet*

Dieki Kondrael: :shock: I command you to refresh.

Bethany Faith: :shock:

Sir Emeth Mimetes: [each fragment rings softly with a bell tone as they settle about the new Honor Roll Member]

Bethany Faith: Aye! Shark Bait! You played with my name color again! Wait- what?

Lady Elanor: I have been waiting for this day forever!

Sir Emeth Mimetes: * bows *

Bethany Faith: *squeals* I'M PURPLE!!!!

Inesdar: *draws sword* hail Bethy! Honor Role Member!

Sir Emeth Mimetes: Many salubrious congratulations, Bethith. :dieshappy:

Bethany Faith: *is hugged and glomped* That was cool.... *has never seen a fantastical show of Emeth powers*

Sir Emeth Mimetes: The Abyss is mine to control, haha

Haha, I actually tried that once (when I was blue), but I couldn't remember to change my text purple, so I just starting signing my name purple instead. It worked well...now everything is purple. :shock:

We've had some interesting promotion stories around here, but I'm going to guess that's the most epic so far, with Jay's role-playing and all. Wow!

Well, now that you're purple and have had all this glorious treatment courtesy of the gentlemen, I hope you're not too important for cupcakes. :rofl:

Seriously, though... Bethy, you deserve this! You are a delightful member that posts with quality in good numbers. Thank you for all you've put into the site, both into threads and individual people. You'll do well as a purple person, though I will miss you in blue! (Though I must say, you're amazingly color-coordinated now.)
